Insensitive, just plain bad medicine.
As a Healthcare professional, it's important for me to know my physician is actually listening to me. Dr. Bavishi did NOT listen at all. She took 5 minutes to assess me. I'm not even sure she sanitized or and barely put gloves on for the exam. She felt around and said everything looked good, but proceeded to tell me my 2 cycles of menstrual irregularity were attributable to pcos (which I don't have) and said if I "lost the weight" I wouldn't be having any problems or hormonal imbalances." She did no labs, no diagnostic testing and sent me out of her office with a high dose of birth control to try to reregulate a cycle she knew nothing about. I am ashamed she's part of the health profession and strongly discourage anyone from scheduling an appt with this physician.

Compassionate and caring
Dr. Bavishi is a wonderful person, she is absolutely amazing. She always listens to me and gave birth to my second son. I can’t say enough about her as she is mom figure to me. Mary Lu is so kind as well. Dr. Bavishi is always there for me and I truly love and trust having her as my doctor. She runs though testing and get to the root cause. She is super qualified and knowledgeable. Definitely worth seeing Dr. Bavishi for your women troubles.

I have been going to Dr. Bavishi for over 35 years so that says a lot. She is competent, personable, patient and thorough. Her exams are gentle but complete. She has an excellent reputation among the hospital nurses which is usually a great indicator for a good physician. She has guided me through delivery, menopause, cancer and beyond. RECOMMEND HIGHLY

Dr Bavishi is wonderful. I have been seeing her since my oldest daughter was born in 1999 and she delivered all 3 of my girls, helped me with my miscarriage, and did my tubal. She has also helped me through a few cancer scares. I highly recommend her!

Turns out she was supposed to be checking my cervix during my appointments. She never has. I'm 33.5 weeks pregnant and won't see her again until I'm 35 weeks pregnant. Every member of my family has been born between 33 & 35 weeks. I tried to explain this, and she went on a rant about my mother being crazy and how I shouldn't listen to her. Turns out my mom got referred to her for a hysterectomy and opted for a different doctor who offered robotic surgery. Dr. Bavishi took it as a personal affront, and subsequently hates my mother and had no patience towards our family as a result. I'm so far along that I don't know if I'll be finding a new doctor, but knowing this makes a lot more of my experiences with her make sense. I really like her nurses, though..
