Dr. Mangalmurti is an Exceptional Cardiologist
I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional level of expertise and genuine care that defines Dr. Mangalmurti. Dr. Mangalmurti himself is not only a highly skilled cardiologist but also an empathetic and compassionate individual who takes the time to listen and understand his patients. His diagnostic abilities are truly remarkable, and he goes above and beyond to explain complex medical concepts in a way that is easy to comprehend. Dr. Mangalmurti doesn't just treat symptoms; he addresses the root cause of the issue and collaborates with his patients to develop personalized and effective treatment plans. He was recommended to me by my podiatrist who sends his parents to Dr. Mangalmurti. That speaks volumes.

Dismissive
I went to Bryn Mawr hospital ER after experiencing chest pain and I was seen by Dr. Mangalmurti. The diagnosis was inconclusive but I was kept for observation, without being admitted, resulting in an excessive bill. He took a fairly lengthy history, displaying a smug, bemused attitude toward my answers which I found to be odd. I heard him afterward describing me to another doctor. His wording seemed to indicate that he suspected a factitious disorder. A while later his colleague came in, following that same line of questioning, asking if I would perhaps like to spend the weekend in the hospital, to get a break, etc. No thanks. Later my mother was referred to him for follow up after a stay at BMH. After waiting an hour in a wheelchair he came into the examining room, hopped up on the table, next to the rumpled sheet and gown from previous patient). “What can I do for you?” he asked her. I asked if he read her chart. He shrugged. We found another cardiologist. Bizarre person.

I could not be more impressed with Dr Mangalmurti . He is attentive, listens to your concerns, and gives clear explanations of conditions, options, and procedures. His Educational credentials are excellent. I have had many cardiologists who seemed to want to just move patients through the office, this Doctor is NOT one of those. I have found a cardiologist I am very happy with, and can LIVE with !

Dr. Sarang Mangalmurti was on call when I took my husband to the ER with chest pain. We got to the hospital in 4 minutes. After an EKG they alerted the Cath team who was supposed to arrive in 30 minutes. 47 minutes later someone started taking him to the Cath lab. When we came to the ER my husband was in minimal pain. While we waited for the Cath team and Dr. Sarang Mangalmurti my husband developed crushing pain. While transporting him to the lab, his heart stopped. Dr. Sarang Mangalmurti said he could not save him. I asked for details and why everyone was so late , and the Dr. Sarang Mangalmurti, would not answer. I asked again to explain, and the doctor was silent. The loved ones deserve an answer. We did all we can is not an acceptable answer when my husband waited an additional 20 minutes in pain. Dr. Sarang Mangalmurti knows he and his team can't be held responsible because of the 90 minute Am Heart Assoc rule. So no one at Bryn Mawr cares if they are 20 minutes late
