Me and my family will say this: this surgeon should've retired years ago. He is extremely arrogant. We strongly feel he has no business operating at his age on complex things like brain tumors. Totally out of touch with technology and his patients needs. We believe he preys on patients who end up in his hospital ER and don't know any better. That describes us sadly at Hudson Valley hospital. If you have a tumor and he becomes your doctor just because you showed up at his hospital, we are telling you to run. Request a transfer to a neurosurgeon who really specializes in tumor surgery. Our family was unlucky enough to realize this too late. My father had a brain tumor that Dr. Rosner totally botched. We only found out after seeking oncology care elsewhere and they reviewed the MRIs leading to a second operation

Caring, Knowledgeable, Experienced I've had a couple neurosurgeons over the years, but Dr Rosner has really impressed me. I have a degenerative condition in my neck and unfortunately I've needed surgeries. Dr Rosner has operated on me twice and both times we're successful. The third surgery he needed to refer me, but he was in the operating room to assist. He's got a great bedside manner and a warm sense of humor. I always feel I have a strong advocate that I truet. You can't go wrong with him

This is the neurosurgeon you want. He is the best. It doesn’t hurt that he and his staff are very kind and so easy to talk to. Thorough, conservative, answered every question I had and then some. I was referred to him years ago but was too afraid to go. Now, I don’t know why I waited so long.

I was a patient of doctor , I am not able to give any stars or star to this doctor, I was in excruciating pain and doctor Rosner could not tell me what was going on neither did he know where my pain was coming from , many different test were done and he still could not tell me what was wrong with me. I had to go to another doctor to find out that the herniated discs were pressing against my sciatica nerve. I had my surgery and thank God i am taking it one day at a time.

"He's your man". IMO a 1st class surgeon. A true professional who is confident and more important capable of performing what he describes. He is very thorough both in his office visits and on the table, the latter of which only occurs when he is of the opinion there is no other option as he is a conservative surgeon which I very much appreciated. When I went under in 2011 he performed the operation @ Hudson Valley and I have no regrets.
