Dr. Xu is a stellar cataract surgeon, glaucoma surgeon, and ophthalmologist who really cares about the outcome of my eyes. Dr. Xu is amazing! I am really happy with the care I received from her. I think everyone who needs cataract surgery should get it done by Dr. Xu. She explained everything to me and put my mind at ease. Dr. Xu is the best eye doctor I’ve ever went to!

This doctor walked into the room, walked past me as the patient, turned her back to me and started having a discussion with her scribe, as if I wasn’t sitting in the chair. When I said something the scribe was rude explaining why they were talking amongst themselves. There is no “why” that explains away why a doctor would not walk into the room and not introduce themselves. Especially since the facility changed the doctor I was scheduled to see without even telling me. Then because it works for her, you can’t use the foot rest. Bonus, because the foot rest is taped up, when she lowers the chair, it scrapes the back of your Achilles tendons. That was fun. Just horrible. She might want to get a scribe that doesn’t think they they are the doctor… Might I suggest reading the patients chart before they sit in your chair as to not treat them like they are not even in the room.
