Dr. Sarah Pickering Beers, MD

I had an awful experience with Dr. Pickering-Beers at Cleveland Clinic and do not recommend this person as a provider. She ordered an at-home sleep study for me to complete given my symptoms. When I met with her to discuss the results, it was clear she did not understand how to interpret or explain the results. She read the last line of the report, which said “the result was inconclusive, cannot confirm or deny the presence of a sleep disorder.” I asked if she can tell me more about what the study measured, and she repeated, “Well…it says inconclusive, so I can’t say anything about what might be interfering with your sleep.” Next, I asked her if there are any recommendations she has that I can make to improve the quality of my sleep. She gave me a blank stare, and said, “I mean…basic sleep stuff, you know….don’t go to bed too late maybe?” It is seriously concerning to me that this person is considered a Primary Care Provider at the Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Beers is thorough and capable! She has been my doc for about 4 years. Recommended

I didn't really feel that she cared much or tried to help much with what I was asking for help with. She seemed to default to the easiest "solution" for my concern and I just didn't feel she was overly friendly (so I was surprised to see reviews on other sites saying otherwise). She came off to me as very serious I did not feel comfortable talking with her.
