Patient beware! She does not care, she is a corporate doctor. I tried giving her the benefit of the doubt after she would not treat me during Covid for a simple sinus infection, so it turned into bronchitis which ended in pneumonia. I had to use my work Teladoc to finally get a zpack which made me feel better within a day and a half. Fast-forward to 2025 I called Thursday morning due to having allergy and sinus irritation from a neighbor burning leaves. I never got a call back I called Thursday afternoon asked to be to get a zpack because I could tell my sinuses were getting infected. I never got a call back. After feeling worse Friday morning I called again. She is out but I was told I could get an appointment with the nurse practitioner next Wednesday. Horrible practice, please find a different doctor.

Negative Reviews are Unjustified
Sarah Lord, MD, is a great doctor. Most complaints involve the office staff. It is, unfortunate, that many service providers have a small pool of candidates from which to choose. Go to any service-oriented business. I have telephoned them and they are like talking to a brick. It is, nonetheless, important to realize Dr. Lord is not the office staff. Dr. Lord and her FNP-C have always provided excellent care and response to needs. Both have seen me on a moments notice. Dr. Lord on her own volition found a problem with my blood work and prescribed a course of action. Maybe the issue is not Dr. Lord but your expectation of being treated like a child. Half of your health care resides with you. Stop being entitled and accept that customer service sucks in our current environment. I like Dr. Lord, not the staff that handles multiple doctors, for her care she provides me.

Spent time getting to know special needs son.
Had a great experience with my special needs adult son. We are a new patient and she spent time with us getting to know my son's health issues. Gave me options for telehealth apt if I am unable to bring him in.

undependable
I have been seeing Dr. Lord for several years. Last Friday i had a case of gout and could not walk without a lot of pain as those who have had gout understand. I call at 9am to get medication for the gout. I knew i'd be doomed on the weekend. Sure enough there was no response, or prescription called in. so i had walgreens call them. Today, Tuesday afternoon, i got a call asking why i wanted the medication from someone in the office who was clueless. I have gotten clueless calls before and when i questioned the caller and told her to ask Lord for clarification, i got a call from a ticked off doctor who complained that i was taking her away from here patients. Seriously? what am i. Or was I. Because i'm done.

Negative 5 stars is what I'd like to rate! In the last 3 weeks, I had 2 medical reports that she obviously did not read nor bother to call me with the information. Today I went to pick the 2nd report myself and someone (not Dr. Lord, not a nurse), said, "Here's the report. Dr. Lord looked at it said everything looks normal/no concerns." It CLEARLY STATES the left thyroid is not visualized & there is a nodule in the thyroid bed. My thyroid is basically missing on the left side! I wonder how many other things this woman has missed with my health over the years. I am livid. I have no idea how she is allowed to practice medicine. I showed up today to pick up my report because the ultrasound was done 1 week ago and I had not heard a peep from Dr. Lord's office. NOTHING! They didn't even bother to read the report that was sent to them 5 days ago - I know it was sent then because I called the radiology department to see when they send them out. Not recommended. Don't go!

Worst office service ever. It is impossible to get through the phone, once they check you in you have to wait for over an hour to be seen, staff is unfriendly. Dr Lord never follows up on test results. I wish I would have listened to the reviews posted here. Extremely disappointed and will do not recommend.

I arrived 20 minutes early, they checked my blood pressure and it was an hour before I saw Dr Lord. She was with a problem client and apologized after I threw a fuss when it appeared I had been overlooked. I thought the excuse was lame. She could have taken a break to be with me, all I needed was 10 minutes. Or her assistant could have stepped in to update me and offered me water or something. I agree with the previous reviews that this office is poorly run.

I went for a checkup as I needed a new primary care physician. I am diabetic and Dr Lord ordered blood work. Two months later, I haven't heard a word from them and they don't respond to phone calls. Not sure what to do but I still need a primary care physician,,,,

Not a good experience. Dr Lord doesn't return phone calls. Office phone system is horrible to deal with. When and if someone picks up the phone they are rude and could care less. Trying to get over an illness then will switch doctors. No customer service abilities by anyone I talked to. I wish I would have known this before I switched from another doc.

Dr. Lord is somewhere but not in the office with the patient. I went in for my first wellness with her. She did not order all of the routine blood work; CBC and metabolic screening (I am pre-diabetic). I also have been experiencing shortness of breath. She said it was nothing. When I called the office back about the blood work orders, they said they did order (they didn't) and if I did not like Dr. Lord I should seek another doctor. Long story short, I sought another physician who listened and ordered a chest x-ray; I am now being referred to a pulmonologist. He also ordered the needed blood work.

What visit? Impossible to get through or ever have anyone ever call back. Horrible experience every time I've had to deal with with my now former doctor's office. Care is long forgotten.

Patient Care? – Sep 05, 2019

This isn't exclusively about Dr. Lord. This office has poor service. She is just part of the problem. I think she works a couple days a week, a couple hours each day - good for her needs but bad for patients who need accessibility. I've called multiple times for script refills. Don't listen to the automated message - you contact your pharmacist and they try to reach out to your doc, but nothing ever happens. It has taken over 2 weeks. 2 WEEKS for someone to get it together. Just call the customer advocacy dept. for St. Lukes. Unfortunately this seems the way to get matters addressed. I don't know if they are understaffed, overworked or a combination thereof. They are very nice NOW. (I think they changed their staff for good reason!) but getting anything done fast around there, good luck. And if you have a serious ailment, please save yourself the headache. Go somewhere else. This office is for basic one & done visits & if you like doing a lot of legwork yourself

The office employees are awful. They had phone problems. I tried to call them and the pharmacist tired to call them about my medication. No call back. Then I get a letter that Dr Lord would no longer be my doctor. I don’t know what was said by her staff but they seem to control the doctors patient selection.

I made an appointment and waited 3 months to get in. On the day I arrived, the acne faced young man at the desk searched the computer and told me I had cancelled my apptmt, which I did not. Then he went into the back, returned and told me that they phoned me the day before and tried to cancel me, lol. I checked my phone, and no one attempted to contact me to cancel. I lost half a days pay on this screw up. I would not refer this practice to anyone waiting months for basic healthcare needs.

Dr. Lord maybe a decent doctor but you will never know because the office is so poorly managed. Calls are not answered. Ever. Almost impossible to make an appointment I needed to use St Luke Patient Affairs office to assist me. And then showed up for the appointment only to find she canceled due to a sick child. Understandable but what about the courtesy of a phone call? Didn't occur. Not a place where quality care is practiced sadly.

My previous primary care doctor retired so I needed to establish a new relationship. Apparently the practice of modern medicine is to take 2 months for a new appointment, make you wait an hour, have a very disorganized office , spend 5 minutes with the patient and stare at the computer while asking questions from a checklist. I have no trust in this doctor or her practice and now have to start over somewhere else.

Not a very competent Doctor, will never follow up nor shows much concerns about your health! Office staff is one of the worst with serious attitude especially someone named Angel one of my worst experience. I had a medical condition for which I needed to see the doctor but she refused to even give me any service.
