Surgical Office Visits
I saw Dr. Lee twice for the same procedure. A group of surgeons botched my post surgical treatment & on my last hospitalization a first year resident cut internal sutures while doing "cleanup" & being instructed & partially supervised by a distracted fourth year resident. 11 months after my initial surgery my abdominal "open wound" closed. An end of a suture poked through the thin skin of the scar tissue & would poke out & retreat becoming infected & an opening that increased & decreased in size. I went to Dr. Lee and had an appointment scheduled in a reasonable time. Dr. Lee removed a length of suture & applied antibiotic. Eventually the remaining suture poked through & I returned to Dr. Lee & she removed what I believe to be the remaining half of that suture. There was no need for going to a surgical suite and incurring unneeded costs. Having worked in emergency medicine & had numerous procedure in my life, I found Dr.Lee to be a superb provider, skilled & pleasant in bedside manner

Dr. Lee works efficiently, communicates clearly, demostrates knowledge and skills that produce best possible outcomes for her patience. She saved my son's life despite the fact that his case presented anomolous and contradictory symptoms. She understands people and knows how to work effectively with a wide variety of personalities.

Yes I would recommend Dr. Lee to anyone if they are looking for a competent , pleasant and skilled surgeon . She took the time to explain my hemicolectomy with what would occur and the details with her staff were excellent . Two days ago, Dr. Lee performed a robot assisted bilateral inguinal hernia surgery. I've had no pain at the three incision sites. Dr. Lee did my umbilical hernia surgery 7 years ago. The pain for the umbilical surgery was about an 8 out of 10 for the first two days. The pain for this surgery has been between a 1 and 3 with occasional pain up to 5-6 only when getting out of bed first thing in the morning. Dr. Lee installed the ON-Q Pain Relief System. It's a ball with pain medication that is continuously leaking medicine into the surgery site. I'm thinking this must be the difference. These first two days I've been waiting for the severe pain to kick in and thankfully, it hasn't. I arrived at home after the surgery and stood for about a 1.5 hrs eating and helping my son with a school project. I appreciate the time Dr. Lee spent with me to go over options and help me understand what I'd be going through. Best doctor ever, but I hope we never have to do this again. Great staff too!

I was referred to Dr. Sarah Lee for hernia surgery by my primary care physician. She was not only qualified by very compassionate in her treatment of me. From pre-op, through surgery and post-op, her communication was exemplary. Her office staff was very helpful and communicative. All in all, a great experience with Dr. Lee. Brian K

Got a referral to come here from my doctor for a Hernia. The front office lady is a total b*tch! I called in the morning to ask when my appointment t was and she told me 9:30. My directions on my phone said I’ll get there in 5 minutes and it took me longer to get there. I showed up at 9:45. The b*tch looked right at me and said you need to reschedule. And said I was supposed to be there at 9:15. WAIT what? I was just 15 minutes late NO ONE else was in the waiting room and I was lied to at wh

Witching days following routine gall bladder surgery I began to develop severe dermatitis. Doctor appeared ill-equipped to get to root of problem, announced after two weeks post op and several office visits, trip to ER, that she no longer needed to see me due to fact that I contacted dermatologist for help. Took one month of treatment by dermatologist to heal the skin condition.

Dr Lee was very thorough explaining my surgery as well as asking me questions and examining me. She and the staff at hospital really helped in putting me at ease. Went home same day. I was called next day to find out how I was feeling. Would definitely recommend.

Had a terrible experience with Dr. Sarah Lee we were few minutes late and she treated us very rudely, both her and her staff. They wouldn't let us ask questions. They were very rushed and and they said how busy they were but there was no one in waiting room. Due to their lack of courtesy and patience I would rather deal with my hernia pain, than deal with the pain she caused me with her lack of caring. Her teachers must have forgotten to instruct her on patient etiquette!!!
