Dr. Sarah De Forest, MD

First I want to say I completely agree with the review about her talking really fast. She is very intense and seems like she’s ready to get the heck out. I was some what enjoying my experience with De Forest. She often would claim she didn’t say she would do something and then after insisting on my end would finally go back to the visit notes and was always like oh my bad yeah ok I’ll do that. But now it’s affected my immediate health and well being. I requested a refill through my pharmacy and they said I didn’t have any so they would need to request it from my doctor’s office and they sent over a request. As I always do when this happens - I called the clinic and informed them that I need a refill and my pharmacy has sent over a request. I do this because I know I have to hand hold them through the process a little bit to get my medication filled but this time they ignored it for a week. I called every day and finally my pharmacy called and they also had to leave a message.

Sarah is a fast talker and I do have to remind her to slow down for mom's sake, however, she truly cares about you're well-being. She is up-to-date with what works and what doesn't. She handles all needs addressed.

I've seen Dr. De Forest a few times now and was shocked by the other review. Dr. De Forest seems very caring and helpful. She called my insurance company right in front of me so that we could work out some issues I'd been having rather than sending me to play phone tag with insurance as most providers would do. She seems to care about me as a partner in my healthcare and I really appreciate being able to work with her.

Came in and talked fast. Focused on something I wasn't even there for. She wrote in my chart something that is so detrimental to my healthcare I am going to have to explain it to every new doctor from now on- but I have started a review of her with the Samaritan Patient Experience department because of it and will have it removed. Stay away from this doctor she thinks she knows you in 5 minutes better than you do. BEWARE.
