Dr. Sarah Agsten, DO

I saw Dr. Agsten both times I have gone to Family Tree Medical Clinic in Roseburg, Oregon. During my short appointments they failed to mention that having ears flushed out during my appointment wasn't covered under preventive appointment that I made and would be an extra charged $200 in my first visit with them. I only found that out after I received a bill from them. The last appointment they changed my appointment type without my knowledge or consent, sending me another bill after insurance. And, that was only after I asked a few questions that I thought would be labeled as preventative measures. This happened both times that I went there. Dr. Agsten didn't solve any concerns that I had. I will be changing doctors. Transparency is lacking. If you go here, make sure to ask if they will charge extra for it. Or you might be left paying a bill you didn't expect.

I love Dr. Agsten I've been here paishent for almost 20 years now she has always found time to make sure she's hears me and makes sure I get the test I need done even though I don't always want to have them she reminds me why by asking how are your kids doing I'm not a person that likes to see a Dr. or go to a hospital so if I've been with Dr. Agsten this long it's because she is good and her staff is the best and work as hard as she does

I credit Dr. Agsten with saving my husband's life. He was, in general, very fit and was unaware that he had already had one heart attack and had major blockages in 5 heart arteries, due to hereditary factors. Dr. Agsten heard about his family history and sent him for tests that revealed the problem, leading to a quadruple bypass that no doubt saved his life. He's still going strong 13 years later, and I will always be grateful to Dr. Agsten for sensing a problem where no one else had.
