excellent physician with great bedside manner. Listens well, shares knowledge and expertise as well as makes me more comfortable with the information shared helping me to make a knowledgeable decision. Provides good quality sessions of coaching as she is certified in mindbody health as well as positive psychology. Highly recommend her as a family physician as well as a life coach.

Great bedside manner
Dr. Alfata is expert in diet and whole body health. She has great bedside manner and does really care about her patients’ health.

Was her patient for almost 10 years. I always had to wait over an hour in a packed waiting room just to have to wait almost another hour in the patient room to be seen. Nurses were always coming in (during the 5 minutes or less Dr. Alfata was actually in the room) asking questions and telling her things about other patients. It was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I had to allocate close to half of my day for less than 5 minutes of inattention from a medical professional.

Dr. Alfata has great bedside manners but in the grand scheme of things, does not do her job. As a PCP, she should be managing her patients' chronic conditions and practicing preventative medicine. I've been a patient under her care for 5+ years and she never inquired about pap smears, vaccinations, or yearly physicals. She let my father take Metformin for years which ultimately led him into renal failure. She schedules follow-up appointments as frequently as possible only to make a profit.
