Dr. Sara Salim, MD

After 15 years of chronic pain and being gaslit by doctors, I had all but given up on the medical professionals. Then I met Dr. Salim. Dr. Salim was the first one to really listened to me. She took my pain seriously and tried to figure out the cause. She recommended I have genetic testing done and I was finally diagnosed with hEDs. This is after years of Drs telling me it was all in my head. At every appointment, she spends a long time listening to me and answering questions. She never makes you feel rushed. Once she called me to go over MRI results after her work day was done and discussed every part of the report while explaining what each finding meant. We talked for almost an hour. When she doesn’t know something, she admits it and then tries to find the answer. Dr. Salim truly cares about her patients and wants to do the best she can to help. I have recommended her to many people. I wish more doctors were like Dr. Salim.
