Dr. Sara Lenherr, MD

I was referred to Dr. Lenherr by my doctor. I looked at her references on the internet. Realized that I was seeing a very specialized doctor. Very knowledgeable. I was happy to get in to see her. However, I read some of the reviews. That kind of scared me. When I saw Dr. Lenherr, I didn't know what the reviews were about. Dr. Lenherr was very personable. Explaining everything to me. I emmediatly was drawn to her. I loved this doctor. She listened to what i wanted. She tried to do the best for me. It didn't always work out. I knew, every time, she had my best interest at heart. She genuinely tried to do the best for me. I would recommend her to anyone. Guaranteed to have the best of care. Working with a doctor who is extremely knowledgeable!

A complete professional

I am a caregiver for my mother and assisted her on her first appointment to visit Dr. Lenherr. As soon as the appointment started, she was using an extremely condescending tone with my mother and wasn't listening to/addressing any of the issues my mom described. She sounded annoyed and kept making disrespectful/rude comments throughout the appointment. She didn't offer any solutions regarding my mother's significant bladder issues until my mom made her own suggestions. My mother is currently only using the medication that she suggested for herself. Our hope was to have a doctor that could look into and effectively resolve my mother's bladder problems. Instead of giving my mom much needed hope about her condition, Dr. Lenherr managed to make her dread being treated. It doesn't seem like Dr. Lenherr cares about helping her patients but only want a nice paycheck. I feel that any other urologist would've been a better choice. I can confidently say that Dr. Lenherr is not the right choice.

Dr. Lenherr is rude, uncaring, and not interested in helping patients. I'm honestly not sure why she has a practice since she made it clear she didn't have time to treat urinary conditions, despite her advertised specialty being Urologist. I was referred to her for chronic UTI's that are a result of bladder dysfunction caused by spinal damage. The first time I saw her she treated my current infection and prescribed medications that would help prevent future infections. I had high hopes, but they were quickly dashed when the preventative medications didn't work and I had multiple infections within a few months timespan. At my last appointment she told me to go to Urgent Care for UTI's because she didn't have time to treat them. I left the appointment feeling hopeless and in tears. This is her specialty supposedly, so why is she basically telling me it isn't her problem? Save yourself the frustration and find a doctor who actually knows their speciality and can help.

What’s funny is she actually diagnosed me w a pretty rare condition which I’m thankful for but then treating it and trying to get in contact with her has been hell. It takes so long to reach her and you have to follow up with them to even respond to your first message, for example I messaged her then received a response 2 days after from her team saying they’d ask for a response then 9 days later (a fully 7 business days) I responded back asking if she had responded and a day later they called me and I missed the call but anyways getting in touch with her has been awful which sucks because I had to wait in pain with a uti that might be damaging my organs and fertility just to see her and now that I’ve seen her I’m probably going to go to the er just to get treated since I’ve waited so long trying to get a simple reply from her.

Dr. Lenherr is abrupt, brusque, and not much interested in putting her patients at ease. She made it clear she didn’t want to be bothered treating “acute UTIs”—that I’ve had for six months. I felt I was wasting her time. If Lenherr wants a career in academic medicine, she’s better suited to the lab bench. Not the bedside.

Terrible. No bedside manner, rude and a know it all. She kept saying she was a surgeon. Maybe just keep her in the surgery room and not with patients. So very disappointed with the visit. No compassion or empathy. Doesn’t carry on a normal conversation. Lacks social skills. Talks down to you and I’m a smart person

the most terrible experience at a doctor's office was the one with Dr. Sara M Lenherr. She is rude and arrogant and should not be working with people, especially those who are sick and are looking for help. Help she will not provide. She does not listen and does not answers questions. I see most of the reviews are describing similar experiences. Why os she still practicing medicine?

I was referred to Dr. Lenherr because my case is complicated. She didn't offer any new information or really show concern for my problem. I provided a very detailed history, but she said she would not go by what I said, only what the data showed which was very limited because my previous doctor was with a different clinic and she wouldn't always do a urine sample every time I had an infection. When I asked if I would hear back the next day about my urinalysis to see if I needed antibiotics she said she had 45 messages in her inbox that needed to take care of first; felt pretty degrading for a doctor to openly admit that I was literally on the bottom of her list. They called the next day and said that they forgot to process my urine sample so I'd have to come in again and do another. They were also supposed to call to set up a follow up appointment and never did. And even then they were going to set it up for 6 months later when the issue is not even close to being resolved.

We found Dr. Lenherr to be rude, abrupt, and basically in no way interested in attempting to "solve" the problem, but more interested in "maintaining" the problem - I guess that's called "job security." Seems like a pretty posh job when all she has to do is give a Rx for supplies without offering or exploring remedies to better help the patient. I would NOT RECOMMEND! Find a physician that will HELP you and your condition!

Worst Dr, ever, wait is 8/9 Months between Appt, and when you do get in she is no help at all, and does not listen, when you dare to speak!
