Dr. Sara Diaz, DO

Dr Diaz, was one of the first doctors I started seeing after a major health, life event that took place in 2014 and I continued to see her until a couple years ago. She truly took the time to get to know me and to explain to me everything and answer all of my questions that I always had, whether it was about health or medication. She never made me feel like a bother. I can honestly say she truly cared about me, my health and my mental well-being. I really miss her being my doctor.

Dr. Diaz saved my life. My health concerns had been dismissed by another health care provider. My previous doctor ran tests but claimed they were all normal. My first visit with Dr. Diaz could have been very overwhelming for her, but she was prepared, had reviewed my history and recent test results and was prepared to offer me a suggested treatment plan. As a result of her listening to me, taking into account my history and then being willing to quickly act and take initiative, she was able to get me to the correct specialist that diagnosed me with cancer. Because she listened to me and took action, I was diagnosed and in surgery within a couple months and am cancer free less than 4 months after my initial visit with her. I am grateful that she didn't dismiss my concerns as my previous care provider did. Today, she continues to treat me and help me work toward better health in all aspects. Would I recommend her? YES! Without hesitation!

Dr. Diaz is AMAZING! She treated me 5 years ago in Indianapolis and changed my life. She actually took the time to educate me and brought an integrated approach to treating my pre-diabetes. I am so sad she moved away. It is very difficult to find doctors here that care about treating the actual problem, not just the symptoms, that also take insurance! She is probably the best experience I've ever had with a doctor.

It was a comedy of errors. She spent very little time with me and dismissed my concerns. Ordered blood work but didn't run the tests I requested. The billing was messed up and I ended up paying out of pocket for lab tests (I didn't need) and a significant amount for the office visit (beyond my co-pay). She referred me to acupuncture and it was messed up and I ended up with a Psych referral?!?! I was able to get resolution using other practitioners. I canceled my follow up appointment.
