Hip pain gone!
I went to Dr. Samagh with hip pain that had been going on for a couple of years. At 65-years-young, I am a very active person and was not ready to give up my favorite activities, hiking and skiing. Dr. Samagh is very knowledgeable, a great listener, he answered all my questions and clearly explained my options. We decided on arthroscopic surgery which involved fixing my labrum tears and shaving down bone spurs at my hip joint. Now 12 weeks later, I have relief from my hip pain and can sleep at night. What a relief! I'll be back to hiking and skiing in no time! Thank you Dr. Samagh!

Highly highly Recommend!
Dr. Samagh and Kristi are the best! I had shoulder pain for months that would not go away. I tried months of physical therapy and I had two clean MRI's and my previous orthopedic surgeon had turned me away. Dr. Samagh really listened to me and ended up repairing a labrum tear that was not showing in my MRI. Thanks to Dr. Samagh, I am feeling better than I have in a long time! The recovery has been very smooth. Dr. Samagh listens to you and cares about your progress every step of the way. I highly highly highly recommend him!

Dr. Samagh and his staff are terrific! I had terrible hip pain from a sports injury. Dr. Samagh diagnosed and repaired a torn labrum. He is patient, answered all questions and the surgery went off without a hitch. I am now back to an active lifestyle and couldn't be happier! I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Samagh is the best! From the evaluations to my eventual surgeries, I always felt listened to and that I was aware of what was happening every step of the way. I came in with hip pain in both of my hips and Dr. Samagh has since performed 2 hip arthroscopies on me, about 4 months apart. I am currently 4 months out from my first surgery and haven't felt this relief in my hip in years! I'm a few days out of my second Arthroscopy and already feel relief from the pain I was in. Dr. Samagh and Kristi always make me feel so welcome in the office and are quick to answer my many questions. My friends and family can't believe how fast I'm recovering and it's all thanks to Dr. Samagh!

Kristi and Dr Samagh are the best! Very honest and concise pre surgery discussions. Dr Samagh helped me make a tough but correct decision to correct my FAI Hip Impingement and torn labrum. I am tremendously grateful for his work. I did a lot of research during my years of injury, went back and forth between the surgical route and trying to fix or slow symptoms via PT. I am very, very happy I chose to move forward with his regiment. He's caring, attentive and trustworthy. I can't say enough. Kristi in the front office is also great. I had some insurance claim issues and she was helpful getting me on the right path, providing insight into the way medical business and claims are handled. I highly recommend this office.

Thank you Dr. Samagh, after two years of pain and different physicians diagnosing different problems, I am now pain free. On my first visit to you you diagnosed exactly what was wrong, I had torn the labrum in my hip and also had Bursitis, you completed the surgery laparoscopically and I recovered very quickly (2 1/2 months) with excellent results, no pain at all! I also had an added benefit from the surgery, I am now sleeping properly. Also, a big thank you to Kristi, Dr. Samagh's medical assistant, she is amazing. I 100% recommendation Dr. Samagh! Maureen K.

Dr. Samagh and his nurse/office manager Kristi are the best team! They are friendly, thoughtful, caring, and are amazing at their craft. Dr. Samagh is an incredible surgeon and has the best bedside manner I've ever experienced, taking time to get to know his patients, explain options, and answer any questions. I felt truly cared for and listened to as I navigated shoulder repair. I'm 2 months out from surgery and I am already feeling better than when I first went in. I know I'll be back to 100% in no time!

From the moment I met Dr. Samagh his professionalism and knowledge out surpassed any of my expectations. I went to see Dr. Padilla prior to seeing Dr. Samagh for knee issues from a previous surgery. He was not only rude, but I was not heard or listened to. I am an RN and work in surgery! The only treatment he was going to do for me was another surgery. No other options. Dr. Samagh is the complete opposite. Imagine that a surgeon that doesn’t start with surgery. He is open to alternative treatments and I now refer to him as my healer. I highly recommend him. I feel so blessed to have Dr. Samagh on my treatment team.

12 Years of hobbling and seeing 6 different doctors and getting no where. Finally found Dr. Samagh who listened to me, tested me and eventually performed arthroscopic surgery on my right hip for a labral tear. He used 3 anchors to secure my labrum and removed 2 - 5 mm loose bodies in my joint, among other things to stabilize things. I also received PRP Therapy which I believe helped a great deal with pain and healing. The operation was May 11, 2020 and as of this review, I am out about 90 days. I can go on pretty long walks and sleep at night with no pain. I have had to re-train my brain as it has gotten used to the hobble. I feel fortunate to have had Dr. Samagh be my surgeon. I was afraid to have any procedure done because of all I had read and never having had any operations before. Dr. Samagh and his staff were very caring and understanding. He's the Best!!!

Dr. Samagh is not only an incredible surgeon with the highest skill set, he is one of the highest quality human beings I have ever met. I will be forever grateful that I walked into his office for a knee issue which he totally helped me with. Not long after that, I ended up with a complete tear in my rotator cuff due to a side effect from an antibiotic. I was devastated as I'm an athlete and this would put me out of commission for a long time. Dr. Samagh has the most amazing bedside manner. Compassion and empathy like nothing I have ever seen or heard of before. He is extremely thorough in every visit, very clear in his action plan and recovery plan. I feel like he understands each patient as an individual. He is so easy to talk with and and I trust him 100%. I'm 2 months post op now and doing great thanks to his precision and guidance during recovery and rehab. If you are lucky enough to have Dr. Samagh as your surgeon, count your blessings.

I'm a 60 yr old active skier, surfer, biker, and blew up my knee skiing 35mph on moguls in Mammoth. Tore ACL, tibial plateau fracture, and severe trauma to patella and surrounding bone. I interviewed several orthopods including the Chargers surgeon, and Dr. Samagh stood out way above the rest. I'm a year post surgery and knee is as good as new. Dr. Samagh is a sharp surgeon and very client oriented. He's got an incredible resume and is a local San Diegan. I would not go see anyone else for orthopedic surgery.
