He may be good, but you'd never know it...
My experience with the doctor to date has been less than optimal! His bedside manner, when you are given the time, was not pleasant. His communication after some testing was non-existent, other than to refer for additional testing. The team supporting him in the office and during a procedure were excellent. These are challenging times for all of us. However, the way he spoke to me was unacceptable, given he didn't let me know the urgency of one test he wished to have performed and that I had in fact called for the appointment, but his health organization did not respond.

Worst doctor I have ever met. Was referred by primary care physician following a serious GI bleed. Dr. Jairath came in very rude and said "what do you want". As I tried to explain he cut me off and said he would not treat me because I had been treated by another Dr at a hospital. I wanted to establish myself as a patient at this office. Most bizarre experience, rudest Dr ever.

I recently returned to VA after 17 yrs living in Florida. Since I have had a history of acute Pancreatitis, liver disorder, upper and lower GI diseases which show pre-cancer cells in all of my Endoscope & Colonoscopies, including IBS, my new PC made gave me a referral to make a connection with a Gastroenterologist. My Florida doctor sent notes and results of my most recent procedures..the first thing dr. J. did was confirm that I am over 75 years old and said I would not be having any of those procedures performed in his practice. I have not returned or do I ever plan to use this practice again.

Excellent Physician who I have know for a long time and I recommend him HIGHLY!!!! Caring, competent and listens to what one has to say. As with all good physicians, his exam begins when he enters the room and ends when he leaves the room.

Dr. Jairath is outstanding. He has excellent professional skills and interacts well with his patients. He is very accessible and responsive, and provides the best advice to all of his patients. I have spoken with others who had concerns about potential gastro problems and I immediately recommended Dr. Jairath. I also have several friends who expressed the same level of satisfaction after having consults and subsequent gastro procedures with Dr. Jairath.

I went to see Dr. Jariath because my primary care doctor sent me to him as I have been having stomach issues for over two years. He was extremely caring and took time with me and put me at ease. My blood pressure was really high that day and his assistant Tyeisha was compassionate and caring as I had a panic attack over it. They are a great team.

Easy to schedule first appointment. Paperwork mailed to me very promptly. Check-in was easy. Wait time to be taken back was maybe 10 minutes, no more. Nurse/tech was pleasant and verified information. Took vitals. Dr. Jairath was friendly and thorough. He outlined lab work and additional testing and explained everything well.

AWESOME DOCTOR! He and his team are very caring and super atintive. I was very pleased with my experience. From the beginning to the end, I was I was beyond comfortable. I would recommend Dr. Jairath and his ream in very high regards. One of the very BEST experiences (if not the BEST) I have ever had with a doctor. I will highly recommend Richmond Gastroenterology Associates! ( Dr. Jairath).
