Arrogant, Won't Listen
Saxena is seemingly a good doctor at first, but has a very narrow way of viewing things. He will quickly tire of anything difficult to treat, or of questions posed which may not fit a tidy box. I worked with him at Rogers Healthcare, and he ONLY knows how to treat via medication, even when this is not the best route for everyone. The medication, which I opposed, but took, ended up taking me three months to withdraw from. And of course, he took no responsibility. I entered treatment with only OCD and left with depression induced by the medication. It took me a while to recover and feel normal. I was pleased to only have OCD left, as opposed to the horrible withdrawals from meds. It may help some people, meds. But for me, this was not the best.

We saw Dr. Saxena as an urgent substitute standing in for our regular doctor, for our teenage child. He went above and beyond the call of duty getting to know the complicated case and giving us very informed and detailed recommendations. He spent much more time with us than he officially had to, to cover all relevant issues. He obviously has a wealth of experience, coupled with a pleasant manner and caring attitude. Very trustworthy!
