Steer clear
Best avoided. Has no integrity. Does not do what he says he will do. Says one thing to the patient and writes something very different in his notes. Talks down to patients. Doesn't listen to patients. Willing to disregard patient interactions and base diagnosis solely on the input of questionable third parties.In short, if you need the care of a mental health professional you can trust, he's not it.

He is a horrible doctor. I have been to different doctors in the past for my condition, all of whom were knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Rao was rude to me and I didn't trust his diagnosis. He talked down to me and it turned out that he misdiagnosed me. He didn't listen to my concerns and twisted my words. He had a preconceived idea about me so didn't seem to want to listen to what I was saying.
