Dr Asrani is very professional and highly skilled. He is very thorough and never gives the impression of being rushed and answers all questions thoroughly. He seems quite focused on doing what is best for each individual and not just follow a routine. He and his staff and assistants are always friendly and helpful.

Dr. Asrani can be inappropriately hostile. He doesn't seem to appreciate how frightening the very real side effects from surgery are. After an eye surgery has resulted in severely diminished vision, it should be reasonable to understand a patient's reluctance to undergo more surgery.

Dr Asrani is an excellent physician and surgeon. My husband has glaucoma and cataracts and is being treated for both. As a retired OR nurse, I have worked with hundreds of surgeons and I am impressed with his skills, his ability to easily communicate with the patient and family, and outstanding bedside manner.
