Dr. Sangrok Oh, MD

Dr. Oh was recommended to me by a friend who had previously worked with the office as a consulting counselor, which I took to be a good sign that the practice was solid behind the scenes. The front office staff is friendly and efficient. The office itself could do with a remodel, but the quality of care makes it more than worth it. Dr. Oh walks into the room prepared and engages with patients like he clearly remembers their prior visits and concerns. He follows up seamlessly, and conducts his exam conversationally, asking permission and explaining what he is doing and why, which I appreciate as a trauma informed practice. He is funny and engaging, and often has a med student he’s mentoring along. I’ve been with the practice for about 4 years now, and I’m so glad I made the switch.

was put under Dr Oh when my female physician left the practice. I was going through a horrible time with anxiety and was already in therapy sessions, etc. He tried to be my therapist and push me to talk about my feelings for about an hour while I was there crying on the bench. I was not comfortable sharing any of this with him and would still not give me meds. Asked for as needed med for my upcoming flights, told me I needed to take drug test first. I have never been so offended!
