Dr. Sangeeta Pande, MD

Took my grandma in for a check in on her kidneys. Dr pande never once went over the lab results. Never went over a diet or what we could be doing to maintain the diagnosis from getting worse. Don’t waste your time or money here. The appt went like “are there any changes in the last 3 months, are these the medications, and okay I’ll keep it the same and see you in 3 months.” LITERALLY. If I asked a question it was brushed off or answered very rudely and short with not a good answer. I just wish we had Dr who actually care about the well being of their patients. I know my grandma is old, but she needs to be treated like her life still matters, and this Dr made sure we didn’t feel like that! Her nurses however, were very nice!

I've been going to Dr. Pande for 18 years. She reviews your test results with you thoroughly. She directs you to what is best for you, whether it's referring you to another doctor or telling you what to eat or not eat for your health. She is a good listener. She has your best interests at heart. My visit went well. She visits me in the hospital whenever I'm there.

I was referred to Dr. Pande by my primary care physician when my labs were indicating a kidney problem. I LOVE HER AND HER STAFF!!!!!!!! Dr. Pande is very knowledgeable and she is so easy to talk to. I have placed her at the helm of my medical team since my kidneys are the main focus presently. I highly recommend her. I am a 71 year old female.

Dr. Pande became my nephrologist during a time when my health was taking a turn for the worst. My kidneys were failing, I was on dialysis and all of this was new to me. I was frustrated because I was limited on what I could eat to protect my kidneys as best as possible and Dr. Pande was very encouraging, helping me to eat and be healthy at the same time. It was very personal to her. She cared about me, not just as a patient, but as a person too. She really wanted me to be comfortable as possible and cared about what I wanted and needed. She truly put me first. She was part of a wonderful team of doctors who saved my life. I am grateful until this day that I was blessed to have her as a doctor and she will forever be one of my favorite doctors!! Thank you, Dr. Pande!

Dr. Pande is to be trusted for her exceptional knowledge, her accurate diagnosis, and her effective treatment programs. Minor complaints are truly irrelevant if you really want the excellent medical services Dr. Pande provides.

Tried to clarify no salt diet to how many grams that meant and she said none at all and also put her on a fluid restriction. Mom has hyponatremia. She said no salt can you do that no salt. She would not set what sodium diet mom should be on. Tried to get an understanding of what was going on with mom. When I had more questions she says either you understand or you don't. Mom had a stroke a low blood sodium can cause seizures ESP after a stroke. Surgeon who took care of mom in the hospital to place a stint to her that she should have more salt and she way too dehydrated. We told him what she said he calls her and she lies. She took mom off her BP meds. She has been to the ED twice for her BP. All that extra money on ED visits. We will be changing renal doctors.

Dr. Pande saved my life and she's a straight shooter. Oh did I say she has a sense of humor, I think she's great! The office staff at Depaul is great too. If she seems aloof , she's has other patients. If you give her time, she'll win you over with her approach.

New patient. I’ve been here over an hour past my appointment time and still in the waiting room. Staff just informed me she just got here. If you can’t be on time for your patients, why should I trust you? My time is valuable too.

Dr. Pande is a very wonderful caring doctor who really cares about her patients. She takes the time to explain your diagnoses and will give you the best treatment options. Before you leave her office she will make sure you have the best of care.

Dr Pande does not explain anything, is condescending and I felt that my health, if left in her hands, would deteriorate rapidly. I would never recommend her to anyone I cared about. After the first appointment I was not impressed but thought that I would attend the follow-up appointment, in case my first assessment was hasty. It was not. If anything, the second - and last - appointment was worse than the first.

Dr. Pande is one the most caring, conscientious, and thorough doctors by whom I have ever been seen. She fully explains her diagnoses and options for treatment, and gives her best recommendations. I have great trust her judgement and abilities to treat my chronic condition.

She has been my mother's doctor since 2009. Dr. Pande is kind, caring and truly cares about her patients. My mom is chronically ill, so I've spent many hours with Dr. Pande. I can say that she is open and honest when it comes to diagnoses. She also discussed each option with us and which ones she thinks is best. Many doctors just come and go -- and can be very cold. I've never felt that way with Dr. Pande. I highly recommend her and stand by her as a physician.

I tried to set up an appointment as a new patient and I was on hold for over 20 minutes before a rude person answered. She was very blunt and had an abrasive tone. I asked her if she wanted me as a new patient since she sounded distracted. For some reason, she thought I should know to have my referring Dr. fax her any and all test even though she didn't bother to give me a fax number until I asked for it. Too many other specialists around to put up with rude office help!
