Miss My Doctor
Dr. Wordlaw-Watkins was the best doctor I have had in my 60+ years. I am deeply saddened that she has chosen to close her practice. If she ever opened up her practice again, I'd be the first one beating down her door. I have gone thru several doctors now and feel like I'm in a senior factory bad medical movie. YES believe me YOU DO MISS WHAT YOU had when you've had the best and now keep getting mediocre doctors.

I have been going to Dr. Watkins for many years both my sisyer and l both see her my sister recommended her to me. She is an excellent caring person and doctor. She gives her professional opinions and may share her own personal experiences as well. This shows me how she cares and that has made me feel even more comfortable with her. Ive had some scary moments and she has helped me through them. And her nurse Melissa also excellent very personable and caring. This is what I need from a medical staff we've had some bumps in the road waiting on a prescription to be called in sure but that doesn't take away all the good she has done. I would and have recommended her to everyone l know. Thank you Dr. Watkins and staff keep up God's work we need more like you l have seen disconnected uncaring doctors in the past so l can honestly say Dr. Watkins is 5 star all the way.

When I initially began seeing Dr. Wordlaw-Watkins she was great, very attentive and had an excellent staff. Once she opened her private practice, the service has depleted. Receptionist that has no care or concern for the patient, her assistant nurse does not practice precautionary/sanitary measures when drawing blood (the needle was placed on the bare counter and no gloves. Dr. Wordlaw-Watkins now treat me as if she's in a hurry and always in a rush. I'm am now looking for a new PCP.

I absolutely love Dr. Wordlaw-Watkins. I have been a patient of hers for well over 13 years, and please know that I am a “special” case. She exudes the right amount of patience with me as someone approaching 50 and in denial.

After 13 years this doctor started to treat me like she no longer wanted me as a patient. She never ever returns phone calls, she stop renewing my prescriptions and now My health decreased, the office staff is tremendous at being rude, they started lying on my insurance and pharmacy and still to this day ignoring my phone calls and messages. It has lead me to go somewhere else and start over.

I went to this doctor thinking I would be care for by a good black female doctor. That didn't happen; November 22nd I was seen by Dr. Sandra Wordlaw-Watkins because I discovered a lump in my left breast. Dr. Wordlaw-Watkins sent over wrong oders for my mammogram to the women center in Fayetteville. The Women center didn't get new orders until Dec 9th. Dec 20th I was diagnosed with breast cancer and they found 2 lumps. Haven't been back since.

I have been waiting on a prescription for over 6months after numerous calls and requests to speak with her I have been unsuccessful. I was in the office in Jan 2016 during the exam Dr Watkins listened to my lunds and said nothing. Less than a week later I was diagnosed with pnuemonia in the ER! I called to follow up as instructed and the call was never returned. Everytime I called the office I had to speak with her receptionist who is COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL and has NO KNOWLEDGE OF ANYTHING!

Their fax machine is always broken, which makes it difficult when you need your documents sent or received. The front desk can be rude at times and the overall staff isn't very thorough unfortunately.
