Experience
Dr. Kaplan is a very professional, compassionate and friendly doctor. I have been seeing her for about 3 years and she has helped me tremendously with my spine issues. So thankful she is here at Parkridge, much closer to see her.

Not a good experience.
Not a good experience. I was there 4 hours for the first appointment. Appointments were always being changed. When you're trying to schedule a procedure and it gets changed it's frustrating. Especially with horrible back pain. Very poor communication with the office. They don't return phone calls or messages through the portal. Also, the patient restrooms not maintained well whatsoever. They were always disgusting. I'm still waiting for an appointment for a back procedure.

Staff is awful!
It's amazing how you will get a wonderful Dr but the staff is awful or you will get a great staff and the doctor is awful. I wish you could have both! Been trying to get a 2nd injection in this office for two weeks now. They keep playing games saying they didn't get the fax for the referral or they got the fax but it's for something else. I'm not wasting any more of my time, I will go to another Dr that's just as good. It's really a shame because Dr. Kaplan super nice.

Love, love, love Dr. Kaplan!! She is knowledgeable, friendly, caring, easy to talk to, and skilled. Dr. Kaplan's nurses are great. However the office staff is lacking and the phone system is terrible. It's very hard to get a call back.

Lucky she is in Chattanooga
She is a fine doctor. I had huge expectations when referred to her. I am a bit frustrated at long delays in scheduling and getting calls back. I will stick with her no matter what.

Painful Arthritic Lower Back Cured
Dr. Kaplan performed an ablation on my lower back in January, 2022. I've fought back issues for many years and my quality of life has been on the decline due to back pain from arthritis. I'm a lifelong golfer but have played very few rounds in the last eight years as my back pain would flair up. Some rounds were only three holes due to the pain. My back pain was continuous and hampered me in every day activities as well. Since Dr. Kaplan's procedure, my back pain is almost always totally gone. If I do have pain from sitting in a car or sitting at home, it goes away when I get up and move around. I am now playing golf with very little to zero pain. Some days I feel absolutely no pain at all. The procedure was comfortable as I was semi asleep. Recovery hurt a little, but just for a week or so. This was such a great thing for me that I felt the need to pass it on to others. Dr. Kaplan is wonderful and has given me my life back. Thank you so much Dr. Kaplan. God Bless you.

Dr. Kaplan is a great doctor
Dr. Kaplan gets 5 stars from me and her scheduler gets a 0 and that gets Dr. Kaplan a 3. I'm told that I must get two test shots to satisfy my insurance company before I get my ablation. I get my first and I'm told that I must get approval from my insurance to get the second. Why? I MUST get two. After a month my insurance company say they have not received a request for an approval and I have not heard from the scheduler. Regardless of the time of day she will not answer her phone or return a message. This is my second ablation and is a repeat problem as the first. The surgical staff are great but the administrative staff need to be reviewed by Dr. Kaplan.
