Dr. Hurtado is absolutely amazing! What I really love about her is how she takes the time to explain and answer all your questions and concerns. It just doesn’t matter how many patients are waiting to be seen, when she’s in the exam room all the attention is specifically for you. I have never felt rushed by her. I highly recommend her!!!

Dr. Hurtado was my first OBGYN and I had the best experience during my 9 months of twin pregnancy. Initially, I did think that the wait time was a little high, however, as the pregnancy progressed, I realized that the wait time is high for a reason, because she never made me feel rushed and answered all my questions with as many details as possible to make me confident about carrying my twins. She has amazing bedside manners, she is polite and calm. Best decision of my life. Fantastic staff.

My first time meeting Dr. Hurtado was three days before the birth of my daughter at 25 weeks and 4 days gestation. I was in the process of switching care from my original OBGYN when I was admitted through the ER in active labor. Dr. Hurtado took immediate action despite not knowing my patient history. Her level of knowledge and professionalism is what allowed me to have a successful delivery and allowed my daughter to be born at the best condition that she could.

Dr. Hurtado was my second OBGYN doctor, and it was the best decision I ever made. She has great bedside manner, she takes her time answering all my questions and concerns, best of all she is caring. She definitely has never made me feel like Im just another number. Yes, sometimes i have to wait a while but I completely understand because she will take all the time she needs with each of her patients. I will never even consider switching doctor!

I wrote a review earlier. I just want to say that Dr. Hurtado not only apologized for the time I spent in her office but also recommended a couple of Doctors for me to go. And she was very nice and receptive for what I had to say.

Dr Hurtado is very great doctor. She is very caring and knowledgeable. I always recommend her to my family and friends. I really adore her. She took good care of me when I was sick after my C-section.

Worst OBGYN I've ever been to. She was short, rude, and didn't care at all. It seems like she just wanted to get the visit over with. I had issues with filling my prescription and she basically told the pharmacy to use whichever generic brand they wanted to use. Terrible doctor. I went with her when she was with Greater Houston OBGYN and I won't be returning there or going anywhere Dr. Hurtado goes.

In my opinion, Dr. Hurtado is one of the best gynecologist I have ever met. She was able to save two of my pregnancies. Even though other doctors would tell me that my pregnancies could not be saved Dr. Hurtado always new what I needed and took immediate action. Sometimes I had to wait a while in the waiting area BUT it was well worth it.

I thought she was a good doctor but as my pregnancy advanced she told me she had plans to go to Africa on the date I was having my first baby! She obviously Knew she was going to travel when we 1st met. I had my son with a stranger even though she was back in town. She came early next day and apologized for not being there. Of course I was done with her at that point. I would not recommend her nor her staff which I was not very nice. I was a number. Bad experience for a first time-

Dr. Hurtado is an excellent gynecologist. She treated my 15 yrs old daughter of an ovarian cyst, She conducted a laparoscopic cystectomy with excellent results, the aprox 5 cm cyst was extracted without complications (leaks, rupture, etc) and the recovery of my daughter was very fast. Dr. Hurtado was very kind and accessible during the treatment and recovery.

Dr.Hurtado was great! She is very knowledgable and has great bed side manner. She asked a lot questions and took her time during my visit. I highly recommend her !

waiting and scheduling time is ridiculously long

She may be good for delivering babies but I feel not for Menopausal women at least not for me. Nice enough but waiting time and staff are another thing. I had two GREAT GYN doctors there for 25 years. Both retired. Their nurses were TOPS. I lost my best friends when these doctors retired and their nurses left too.. I literally cried. I was told that since I had a total hysterectomy and normal paps, my file is now archived and I do not need to be seen by Dr. Hurtado. The door was closed.

Dr. Hurtado is an excellent physician who takes her time with patients and is very knowledgable. The system she works in is the problem. Not enough support staff and seemingly always excessively over booked. Things fall through the cracks when this is the situation.

I highly recommend Dr. Hurtado. She saved my life and my baby girl. I wouldn't trust anyone else with such delicate job.

Dr. Hurtado is very caring and explains things very well. Only problem is that waiting times are ridiculous and scheduling an appointment is pointless since it's usually rescheduled.
