MD Sandra Everett was my mom’s eye specialist. We went to her on end of August for regular checkup, treated my mom for her dry eyes, she put two small plugs in her eyes to help with dry eyes. After her treatment, one eye was fine for few days but on the other eye mucus coming out every 10 sec non stop even though she wipes it. Also, it’s teary and the water that’s coming out smells really bad. And it’s hurting the eyes and whole eye is red. The doctor said if something happens to give call to see the doctor for the side effects. Within 2 days we called, she sent eye drops. Still didn’t fix the issue. Took appointment, didn’t wanna give us appointment, kept saying oh just use eye drops. Been using eye drops from August still her eye is red, teary, and mucus coming out.its been 56 days!!! We took appointment with the doctor, only her assistant seen my mom. We requested the doctor to come many times and the assistant requested her TWICE. Still the doctor didn’t come to see my mom.

Unprofessional - Do Not Recommend
This Physician is an embarrassment to the profession. My mother recently had her first (and last) appointment with Dr. Everett. She barely acknowledged my mother as she began the appointment, was rude, and used physical contact to put my mother's head into position. Her tone was condescending and was angry when asked questions. I can not think of any reason to subject people to this type of treatment. Appalling.

Knowledgeable but not professional
I have been her patient since surgery for Fuch's Dystopia. I have been in the office when she makes staff cry. At my surgery the staff told me how nasty she was; yelling and degrading not only staff but other doctors. I had complications after my surgery, she never came to check on me. She told staff it wasn't her problem and she was in the parking lot. She is aloof and inconsiderate. If she dislikes people so much why not retire? Sometimes more academically minded people can come off as cold. I understand this but you can't treat people in your care with such unabashed inhumanity. I am a professional and people skills are required in society. Physicians run practices but it does not mean their bedside manner is beyond reproach. Be humane. She makes me uncomfortable and I dread going for appointments. I have to tolerate her but I won't let her berate me anymore.

Wonderful!
Dr Everett was the epitome of what a doctor should be. Knowledgeable, thorough, professional and friendly. Very nice. Explained everything thoroughly. Answered all my questions. Before going into operating room, she continued in same manner and answered my questions. Would definitely recommend her.

The height of ego, something I have never witnessed in all my years. Won't say hello, act annoyed when you ask questions. Will finish a sentence and just leave the room without knowing if she's coming back. Why work with patients? seriously, you have such disdain for them. All your staff, young doctors, are clearly very afraid of her. What a joyless individual. Sure, she's reached professional success but at what cost? Is she liked as a person by anyone on this planet? Unbelievable.

Dr. Everett never communicated with me regarding her findings after exam. When I asked questions she was annoyed and rushed. She did not look at me worked at her desk rushing me out. This has happened now for the last time I am not going back to her. The only feed back I received was from the summary I asked for at the front desk. Items listed in the report were never discussed between us.

I did not want to leave a star, but had to!! I would not recommend Dr Sandra Everett to anyone! Very rude to me and my husband from the minute she walked in until she left! When I asked her a question she said look it up on the internet! Seriously! How much am I paying you? How much is my insurance paying you? She had a lot to say about herself, as if she was god. I will not go back!

Judge for yourself. After seeing several other Doctors (Specialists) without success, I am very lucky to find Dr. Everett who truly knows everything there is to know about caring for your eye needs. The entire staff was very prepared and organized. Finally I can see without the same irritation. I was almost out of options. If this is your 1st eye specialist you won’t need another.

Her bedside manner is awful. Very rude. Explains nothing. Don’t go to her. I think she is a good surgeon but can’t say it’s worth it. My poor moms blood pressure go up every time we have to see her. Totally unexceptable.

Dr Everett discovered retinal detachment at a routine eye exam almost 20 years ago, her persistence got me to a retinal specialist that day. She then years later diagnosed me with Graves’ disease, when my primary failed too. She successfully performed cataract surgery on my right eye, in a few weeks my left. My vision is faithfully entrusted to Dr Everett.

Dr. Everett helped saved my eye sight after misdiagnosis from another specialist. Yes, you have to wait, but your eye sight is worth the time necessary to see her. She will spend whatever necessary time with each patient. I have personally had appointments that lasted over 40min to complete necessary work on my eye. She deals with conditions that most ophthalmologists refuse to touch and will do whatever is necessary to save your vision. This is why there are so many people waiting to see her.
