My husband and I LOVE Dr Wesonga! He has a wealth of knowledge, as we have seen him for a wide range of medical issues. He is also kind, patient and takes the time to listen and explain at the same time. We are please to have found him here in the Triangle as our primary MD. We are originally from NY and he has far exceeded our expectations! 5 STARS all the way!!

5 Stars all the WAY ~~Most Caring Doctor! Dr. Wesonga's is a fantastic well rounded Doctor. He willingly listens carefully to all your concerns, whether large or small. Dr. Wesonga's care and patience, along with his expertise is so valuable to me and my husband. We are lucky to have him as our primary care doctor for 5 years now since we moved to NC from NY

Dr. Wesonga was very dismissive of my health issues. I asked him about multiple problems that I had, and he brushed them aside as me just getting older and simply told me to take supplements. After going to him for a few years, I switched to a new doctor who looked at me in shock when I told her what Dr. Wesonga had said. She immediately referred me to various specialists for my problems who have taken good care of me and resolved most of them. He also ignored an issue that ended up being something that was about to develop into cancer. I would not trust Dr. Wesonga with my health at all.

I have been with Dr. Wesonga for over 15 years and have always been extremely pleased. He is compassionate and takes his patient's health and well-being seriously. He listens to what I have to say while providing adequate answers. I've followed him through a relocation and can't imagine being with any other PCP. I love the way he encourages me to advocate for my best health. During this pandemic, even his telehealth visits meet my needs. Thank you Doc for always being there for me and my family!

Not a fan at all, he barely checked me out. Granted I am in good health, he basically checked my heart and breathing. Basically told me get good sleep and come back in 4-5 years. Sent me to get a 2K test procedure and I have not heard a word back from him regarding any update or prognosis. In health, no news isn't necessarily good news.

Dr Wesonga does a great job listening and working with his patients. He works to try natural and safe ways to treat issues like high blood pressure (diet, exercise) rather than just trying to prescribe medication. He is trustworthy, humble but very confident and someone I trust.
