Great Doctor
Dr. Vinci treated me for foot pain. He was very personable and professional and had a great bedside manner. He knew what he was talking about and explained it so I could understand. Definitely would recommend him.

Went to this Dr. late last year for a work injury He did barely any testing an x-ray which doesn't show much. Office visit was difficult and unfriendly he barely listens to you about whats bothering you and then has the nurse come in and gives you a prescription. My foot was fractured and he couldn't or would not do the proper testing to properly diagnose my injury. Stay clear of this Doctor not very personable and rushes out the door after about 3 minutes then your stuck with the nurse trying to explain stuff when the doctor should be. Not recommended Its a late review but wanted to get it out there for people think about a foot doctor !

Mismanaged my foot fracture (should have been surgically treated). Did not listen to my ongoing complaints, injected foot with steroids without using fluoroscopy. Did not have the professional integrity to refer me to another physician for a second opinion when there was a board certified orthopedic foot surgeon in his practice.

I had to have surgery to fuse a toe due to a damaged joint that resulted in a ganglion cyst. The surgery went really well. I had to have stitches that needed to be removed later (first time in my life having stitches). The nurse was kind and helped me feel calm when she removed the stitches. Follow-up visits went smoothly. It has been over 2 years and the work Dr. Vinci did was perfect. The toe healed, almost no visible scarring, and the cyst did not come back. I am exercising, jogging, dancing, and wearing open toed shoes again without any problems.

He saw me for a little over 3 minutes. This includes the time he took filling out paperwork on the computer. I showed up early. I went in with a multitude of problems; he spent about a minute looking at me; all he told me is I have flat arches (doesn't take a podiatrist to figure that out) and threw a prescription for orthotics at me. My guess is this is his way of easily making money off patients. He made it seem like he was just leaving the room to grab something and would be right back, and then never reappeared. When his assistant came back in and told me my appointment was over, I was shocked and asked where he had gone. I told her I didn't feel I had received proper care, and needed to speak to him again. He popped in, I asked what the rush was for, to which he replied he has a meeting scheduled at the hospital. Why would he take my money and schedule a meeting during my appointment time??? Offensive and harmful business practices. Worst medical appointment experience I've had.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Although it’s been years since I went to him, the awful experience lingers. I went for ingrown toenails. He said he could only remove the nail and leave a sliver (1/32 if an inch). I thought-why? Why leave that? He said to see things better I needed to grow out my nails for 2 months. He walked me to the front desk and told the girl to make an appointment for me in two months. I come back and the first thing he said was “why are your toenails so long?” When I explained, he said he would never do that. - even though he walked me to the scheduler himself. I also had lost a nail on one of my big toes when I was a kid. He looked at it and said “I did a nice job on that one didn’t I”? I was dumbfounded and should have asked for my money back right then and there, but was in shock. What the hell is my chart for- he obviously never bothered to read it. Do not go to this man. I have choices inflammatory words I’d like to use but choose not to!

I saw Dr. Vinci for severe pain in the arch of my foot. As soon as I pointed to where the pain was he diagnosed me with plantar fasciitis and had me go to physical therapy for 2 months. When that didn't help the pain he started steroid injections. After the first shot I told him the pain had gotten even worse but he was sure that 2 more injections were necessary. After the final shot he said "Plantar Fasciitis shouldn't hurt you this much" and pushed me off on a pain management doctor. A year an

Dr. Vinci removed a bunion on the side of my big toe which was immobile and painful. He suggested an implant, but never used it. After surgery the toe would not bend. Dr. Vinci said it was due to scar tissue. Another surgeon re-operated and found that a bone in my foot connected to the big toe was out of position. He lowered the bone so the toe could move. Dr. Vinci could not have used the implant because his surgery was done at a surgical center (not a hospital). I am very disappointed.

I saw Dr Vinci quite a while back and am cured. I had planter fasciitis so bad that I could hardly walk. Dr. Vince was very professional and personable. He scanned my feet, found a solution, made me customer inserts, and I am back on the tennis courts and have a normal pain free life again. I would recommend him to anyone.

I needed to see someone quickly and DuPage Medical could get me in asap to see Dr Vinci in their Downers Grove office. After reading the reviews I considered canceling. I've seen him twice now and have nothing but great things to say about him. He diagnosed the issue quickly. Was very personable. Wasn't in a hurry. Answered all my questions. Staff was great. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I was a new patient and he didn't introduce himself. He came in the room with a cavalier attitude. I felt like he didn't really want to work with me for a good long-term resolution to the problem that brought me to his office.
