Would leave NO stars if I could!
This man should NOT be a physician!! I brought my daughter into the ER on Saturday, 12/2/2023, and had the unfortunate luck to have Dr. Selby as her attending doc. I brought my daughter in for seizure activity, she has a short history of them, and he had the nerve to tell me that the seizures were NOT seizures, that it was most likely stress! The first one he witnessed was at the tail end of the worst of it, and he took a syringe with saline in it and squirted it on my daughter's face, to which her body naturally responded to with rapid blinks and trying to move away, and he said that it wasn't a seizure. This happened another couple times, and on the fourth seizure, which was the worst, I video recorded it. Upon showing the Neurologist who rounded on my daughter, she confirmed that that was most DEFINITELY seizure activity and indicated that Dr. Selby had not been truthful about what he witnessed while my daughter was in the ER, and/or downplayed her condition.

Dr did not help my son, after 2 hours with open fracture and pain at a 9 dr had still Not given him meds to help. He did at one point have a nurse come to start an iv and then came in the room and hit the patient’s bed while she was attempting to start it. He then suggested she wait. Discharging nurse told me to come back as soon as I needed if I didn’t feel comfortable managing pain.

No bedside manners
We waited far too long for my son to get pain medicine. Not to mention no real feelings of concern and we felt like a number and not people in the emergency room looking help from a doctor that should show compassion and empathy.

We had a horrible experience in the ER with my daughter. Her specialist sent us over for very specific reasons and tests and he refused to run them and sent us home with no help at all. It was clear we were just an inconvenience to him.
