I recommended this doctor and this practice to a family member and I am embarrassed after what they experienced. Pawned off a host of previously diagnosed medical issues (some of which at times become life-threatening and require medical intervention) as due to "obesity," instead of actually listening to the patient and offering any kind of helpful input. Pathetic and a complete waste of time.

After going through the difficult process of having to find a new family doctor I had my first visit with Dr. Rao this morning. I could not be more pleased. Patient with my questions. I never felt rushed. He was informative and caring. He was NOT pushy, condescending, or anything negative. I wish I'd made this decision years ago. Oh... and the wait time was only about 5 min.!

Dr Rao is friendly, caring and competent. He has done a great job of managing multiple conditions plus the fallout from a major accident. He is very careful about potential drug interactions. He has done an excellent job helping me manage my overall health.
