He does not listen to his patients. He is rude and condescending and over medicates. His license should be revoked.

Tried to lock me up for no reason
How does this man deal with mental patients in a psychiatric ward? Honestly, he is the most arrogant, selfish, entitled a hole I have ever met. This goes hand in hand with Americas horrendous mental health system, but when I got admitted to the mental hospital he handles peoples LIVES in, he attempted to put me on a 30 day hold for no reason. He loves power and wont listen to anyone and does not care about his patients. Thank god me and my family got a lawyer so we could show this punk that he is not invincible. I honestly hope he loses his medical license. Do not seek care with him.

My son was doing great on very few meds for months until Dr Etchie added two medications and now my son is not doing well. Dr Etchie told me he would fix the meds but still hasn’t. Now he is not returning my phone calls! It appears he told me what I wanted to hear and then dismissed all of my concerns. I feel helpless and worried about my son’s well being!

Avoid at all costs!
My father was under his care and it was horrendous. Prescribed medication without reason. Won’t call back to explain. Worst care I’ve ever experienced.

He is a very arrogant, and unhelpful doctor. Claims to be well-versed and up to date on the current health care research but fails to demonstrate or even elaborate on his knowledge, claiming he doesn't have time to explain. The average wait time is about an hour and the amount of time spent with Dr. Etchie is at most ten minutes. This is not a helpful or caring doctor in any way. He is narrow-minded and self-centered. His assistant Nora is very kind and extremely helpful, unlike Dr. Etchie.

Don't seek treatment under his care. He's not interested in helping you. I hope that his medical license is deemed void in the near future. I truly don't understand how this man was granted an MD. By far, the most condescending and arrogant human being I have ever met.

Arrogant, condescending, uncaring, and as warm as a bucket of ice. He chose the wrong field. I felt very uncomfortable.

The meds he's prescribing aren't working. I'm suffering such a feeling dread & anxiety, yet is not addressed. I'm told to "think "happy" thoughts. Yes, he interrupts the time my insurance is paying for me to have a 15 minute appt (lasting 5 min), sometimes wait hours for, to answer his cell phone. Doesn't feel like he's truly interested in helping me, just scripting pills. He's very nice, but sometimes never looks up from what he's doing at his desk, usually writing notes in someone else's chart

I went back to Mr. Etchie (2nd visit) to provide him with another opportunity to help me. When I went in he said, "Oh, you" and proceeded to tell me how he felt about my first online review. That was his priority, not my mental health. I was beginning to tell him about when his cell phone rang. He put his hand up while I was in mid sentence and answered the phone. I left stating I did not wait an hour past my time for him to answer his cell phone on my time like he did twice the first session.
