Pain Care Specialist
Dr Essandoh and staff have always treated me with the upmost respect. I’ve received injections and had an internal spine cord stimulator installed.

I have recently started seeing this pain clinic. I am so impressed. The staff is extremely friendly and I never have had to wait to be seen. On my first visit, they sent me for x-rays. They were able to diagnose my back problems. I have had the first procedure, and I am so thrilled. I can now touch my toes, which sounds like an easy task. But I hadn't been able to do that in years. I truly am so amazed in my improvement. The who staff is wonderful, and I would highly recommend them to friends and family.

My daughter was seen by Dr. Samuel Essandoh (Oracle Pain Clinic) for pain relief and management due to her progressing and painful Scoliosis condition, which concluded with him informing us that his clinic would follow up to schedule another appointment. My daughter was then contacted by an Oracle staff member and notified that Dr. Essandoh could not treat her for her pain, even though he specializes in Pain Management and owns a pain clinic. My daughter then asked for the reason behind Dr. Essandoh's decision to not treat her, and the staff member repeated the answer that "Dr. Essandoh can not treat you for your pain". When asked for further clarification, the staff member again repeated this statement. Being her father, advocate and Authorized Representative for Health Care, I got involved and contacted Oracle and requested the needed clarification, and staff again repeated the same prepared response, indicating Dr. Essandoh could not treat my daughter for her pain. WTH???

I’m very thankful for Dr. Essandoh. I’ve been a patient for 6 years. He has given me back a life. I was in a wheelchair when I first seen him and now I’m able to walk. He’s very compassionate and comforting. He listens to you. He knows how to calm you down and give you hope. He understands my RSD . I highly recommend Dr. Essandoh!

If you have surgery he will not allow the surgeon to prescribe any pain meds. He insists on controlling all pain medication and will overrule your surgeon’s recommendations. . He is very disrespectful of surgeons claiming they don't know anything about pain medication. Really, that is what he says. Highly regarded highly experienced surgeons that routinely do a particular surgery are not competent regarding pain meds. Dr. Essendon is a bully with a short fuse. After pacemaker surgery, he wouldn't let me take a modest dose of another med the doctor prescribed and lied to me about a conversation with the surgeon. I was allowed one extra pill above my normal amount for 2 days. Not a huge problem in that case because I iced, but I’m facing 2 other more serious surgeries and he said I could expect the same. When I told him I was going to find another doctor he blew up and dismissed me without giving me time to find another clinic. That created a crisis in my life that had consequences

I’ve been seeing Dr. Essandoh for approximately 3 years, he is a fantastic doctor who really cares about you. He is the most understanding and knowledgeable physician who wants to help you get better. I’ve had several in office procedures over the years (lower back, neck and migraines) and always feel better afterwards. Dr. Essandoh explains everything to you and his ethics are, bar none. The office staff is absolutely amazing too!! K~

I have been seeing Dr. Essandoh now for about 3 years, or so, and I have always been treated very good. I have never had an issue with the injections, they either help me or do very little. He has always been caring and kind to me. I know that are some people that just want to go see a pain doctor and want nothing but pain meds, which will not happen here. The point of pain management is to try other options instead of a bunch of pills. I'm very glad that I found him.

I would NOT recommend this doctor to anyone!! Staff is rude and unconcerned about your well being. Honestly if I came to you for pain management that is why I'm here not for you to string me along and do NOTHING to help me!!! Total waste of my time.

Dr. Essandoh is an excellent doctor who is very knowledgeable about what he does. He spends time with his patients. He offers patients treatment with their active participation. Pain management clinic is not set up just to offer doses of narcotics to patients but to also try other treatments like physical therapy, injections, and psychological therapy. If your aim is just for narcotics to abuse or sell, don't waste your money and time going to Dr. Essandoh.

I was treated very poorly by this physician. He did an injection in my spine that made my pain incredibly worse and then when I made an emergency appointment, he treated me as though i'd done something wrong, even though i'd followed each and every one of his instructions.
