His staff is not very good either.
This doctor has a blank, empty, too quiet, personality. His phlebotomists are terrible at drawing blood. They stuck me 6 unsuccessful times until blood was pouring down my arm. I complained to the doctor, and he simply said, 'Well they are just phlebotomists'. -- Terrible response -- I got up and walked out without having blood work done. Once I needed to have a prescription filled. The staff told me I was not a patient in their computer system. After staying on the phone, arguing all morning with them, finally, they admitted that they were mis spelling my name. There is much more, but I'll leave it there. This office is a real headache, and a nightmare. I felt sicker when I left than when I walked in. I'll never go there again.

My new Internist!
Having just moved to this area, I was referred to Dr. Adams by another doctor. Dr. Adams took the time to answer my questions, and asked questions of me. I was not rushed, and I am happy to say, I have a new Internist!!

Dr. Adams is a caring, compassionate physician. Broadly experienced, he has handled everything from chronic diseases to a foot injury for me. I have been so fortunate to have him as my primary care physician. His support staff including the front office staff and medical assistant staff are outstanding.

My experience with Dr. Adams has been excellent. He's been my PCP for several years and I have never been dissatisfied. He's always been a good listener, a thorough diagnostician, and a patient, straightforward advisor for my medical conditions. In my many visits, I have never felt rushed; rather, he invites my questions and welcomes me to return or call whenever I feel the need. My thanks to him, his assistants, and the whole staff at PCP for their competence and excellent customer service.

He's a money grabber trying to take advantage of the system! Extremely disappointed! I tried to get a refill on a prescription and he wanted me to come into the office during the Coronavirus shelter in place. And he's doing telemedicine. It wasn't a controlled substance either. Made me feel extremely uncomfortable. When I objected to this kind of risk, his assistant said they aren't seeing any sick people so it's ok. I asked how they knew who was sick before I was hung up on. The whole situation showed me how much he only wanted the money from the office visit and couldn't care less about his patients. I asked another doctor what they thought, and they were appalled. Go elsewhere.

I think Dr. Adams is a superior doctor. He listens carefully to what I say. He is very thorough. He diagnosed both my kidney failure and diabetes. He called me at home when my blood tests showed I had diabetes and sent me to the hospital immediately. His office staff are very caring and helpful. I never have to wait very long. I have recommended him to several friends and will continue to do so.

I have been a patient for 20+ years and I never wait long, he is always thorough and professional. The staff are always kind and efficient. Dr. Adams is very straight forward, he shoots from the hip and doesn't use a lot of fluffy verbiage when he talks to you.

I have been going to Dr Adams for 20 plus years. I never wait long to get in to see him. He is very thorough and professional. His office staff treats me with kindness. I love the care they give me. They ALWAYS call me with lab results not like other offices that I deal with. I am a nurse and when I talk with Dr Adams he always listens! I have referred many family and friends to him. Thank you to Dr Adams and his office staff!

Last week Dr Adams read the "the riot act" for complaining about the office staff and refusal to see me although in great pain. He complained that the flu flooded his office with patients but then went on to say he works full days M-Th and a half day on Friday. He's a clock watcher with no patient empathy. He needs to hang up his stethoscope; his heart and mind are no longer in the game. IMHO, he's just in it for the money and he's lazy. I don't want a clock watcher for a doctor.

I switched to Dr Adams earlier this year. On my first appointment I was delighted with the promptness and professionalism of Dr Adams and both the medical and administrative staff. I was looking for his address today before my appointment and noticed 2 critical reviews over the summer on your site about the office staff so I was very observant. I’m happy to report everything was excellent. I have and will continue to personally recommend Dr Adams to my friends and family for a PCP. Thank you!

Please do not go to see this doctor. His Office Manager is a nightmare, and you will never get any help from the office staff. Went to see him 1 time, left in the waiting room for over an hour and a half, was not given the medicines I requested, and then sent to ER for a false positive test and have received over $1000 in claims to pay AFTER my $500 ER co-pay , because it was NOT AN EMERGENCY--- Just to be told by the office manager they would not do ANYTHING to help me offset their WRONGDOING!

Dr. Adams is very thorough and has a great bedside manner. Unfortunately, he can only be as good as his office staff. I have been a RN for 13 years and I cannot believe the negligence from this office staff and office manager.
