Dr. Chan really listened to me as I told him my symptoms! He scheduled my surgery with instructions of a good diet before my surgery! He was very professional and he made me feel comfortable! My surgery went great! Thank you doctor Chan, I feel so much better! Lorez Morris

Dr Chan takes his time to explain and answer questions. He called me post-op himself to ask how I was doing. He communicated the results to me instead of having an office staff do it. Even though the results were fine.The surgical scheduler was pleasant.

Dr Chan did two surgeries for me and he was so thorough and caring....I have Lupus and other medical conditions and I have had many not so caring doctors. I'm so thankful and grateful for Dr Chan he really cares and listens!!!!

Dr. Sampson Chan in Munster, Indiana performed surgery on me in November 2019 and not only did a great job he was also very knowledgeable and was very thorough in explaining every detail throughout the whole process. I want to also add that everyone in the office was very nice. I went into the office thinking why am i doing this since it was an elective but necessary surgery for me according to my other doctors. He made me and my husband very comfortable about the whole thing. He took all the time I needed to ask questions and answer them thoroughly. I would highly recommend this team for anyone needing surgery. I would use him first if in the future I need any other surgeries.

My referring doctor along with Dr Chan agreed that I needed my gallbladder removed. Dr Chan was very understanding with a great bedside manner. He introduced me to his surgery scheduler Jessica and they assured me that she would be calling me the following Monday to schedule my surgery. Monday came and no call. The date she gave me was over a week out and understanding the holidays but I have lost weight and suffered from vomiting due to my condition which landed me in the ER. I asked if she could see if there was any way to move it up. No returned call. Wednesday I called yet again on my way back to the ER, Jessica wasn’t in so I left a message with the front desk. I ended up having to call again. Jessica got on the phone with an attitude like I was bothering her. Not sure what the issue is. Maybe because I look younger than I am they thought they can run over me or maybe I’m the wrong complexion. A little compassion goes a long way. To his office staff please try to be more caring.
