Never diagnosed my problem
Saw him for 2 yrs and still didn't have a clue about my eye condition. I have lost half the vision in one eye. For all of his degrees and education, I would have thought he would have had at least one theory. Never once in two years did he express an idea or a thought about my eye condition. The last time I saw him he was very unkempt and rushed. I won't go back.

I just waited one hour in your Champaign waiting room. The receptionist was hostile. Would not tell me when I would be seen. Extremely disappointed. I arrived early. Some patients arriving after I did were seen before me. I finally left. Terrible experience.

I am so very thankful for Dr. Sayegh, He has done a cataract replacement that has restored my vision and treatment of the eyes that is repairing my vision fully - I am thankful again to be able to see and drive my car and at this point only need reading glasses.

I had double vision after my cataract replacement lens slipped. After a thorough exam and extensive visual testing, Dr. Sayegh was the only doctor in town to 1) not recommend invasive surgery 2) Explain how vision works with artificial lenses and that we only needed to reduce the pupil size to fit entirely within the lens. He identified three non-invasive ways to do that from drops to specialized contact lenses. If you have vision issues there is no better partner than Dr. Sayegh to help you

I've lived in Champaign for 25 years and have seen several eye doctors. However, I had never found “my eye doctor” until I saw Dr. Samih Sayegh two years ago. This doctor is the most experienced eye doctor in this area and an active researcher, constantly giving talks in the US and worldwide. In the office, Dr. Sayegh really cares about his patients. A year ago I had cataract surgery with Dr. Sayegh and the experience could not be better. He knows what he is doing and I trust him 'blindly'.
