Dr. Sammy is a super nice guy! That is where it ends! He performed a spinal fusion on my low back that was a NIGHTMARE! Constant pain post surgery after PT. After 2.5 years I went to another surgeon in Dallas for a revision he showed me the imaging of Dr Sammy’s work and his work and said it is not his practice to talk about someone else’s work but the pictures don’t lie it was done very poorly by Dr. Sammy. I had got another opinion before selecting the surgeon in Dallas in Plano and this surgeon did Tiger Woods fusion. He was hot as fish grease looking at Dr Sammy work he said I should sue him. I called a lawyer but too much time had passed. AVOID Dr Sammy!!!

Would recommend to everyone, he's an amazing doc!!
Dr. Parikh has been one of the best doctors I've ever had... Would absolutely recommend him to anyone!! I come from a family of Dr.'s and nurses, and even they couldn't believe the level of care he was providing throughout the entire process (FYI, they helped me vet him prior to my consult as well, absolutely solid education and has been doing this a long time). He got me in FAST (called 30+ doctors on my insurance approved list, and only 2 could see me within a weeks time...), and his consultation was absolutely thorough and was attentive the entire time. He walked me through my entire MRI, instead of just taking a single snapshot of the most problematic area like the other consult did, which as it turns out left out a ton of information knowing what Dr. Parikh had already gone over with me... By the end I knew exactly what the problem was, and what option was best for me. He's a good doctor. You should at least consult with him and find out for yourself...

I have to say that Dr. Samir "Sammy" Parikh and his assistant Rebecca are amazing! I had experienced low back issues for 20+ years but had started to feel pain & numbness down my leg when walking or standing. As with any surgery to the spine, I was incredibly apprehensive and nervous! Dr. Parikh patiently explained how he could solve the issue while also listening to all of my questions & concerns & encouraged me to "ask away". He truly seemed to care about me and his sense of humor was also refreshing & helped to relieve some of my stress. His assistant Rebecca is awesome & routinely reached out to check on me as well as helping me through the entire process of scheduling and follow-up. Just an awesome team! Best choice I could have made! 2 years later & still pain free and walking 3 miles per day now. Best decision I made!

Dr Parikh and Rebecca his assistant come off as kind, caring and wanting what's best for the patient, when in fact they hardly listened as we unfortunately found out. We had surgery set for 1/3/20 that was scheduled 11/21/19 for an in network facility that they never intended on using. On multiple occasions they pushed for an out of network facility that could have cost us thousands and thousands of dollars more than necessary and we told them we were not comfortable going that route. When we pushed back to use the in network facility, we were told that was no longer a short term option and we could go to another facility an hour and a half away. We NEVER asked them to change the original agreed upon facility or date. Not sure why they were pushing us to out of network unless it came with financial gains to the doctor. They left my girlfriend with undue stress, anxiety and pain for more than 2 months. They are not to be trusted!

I am a 30 year old female who has never had any back issues. I am one lucky patient to have found Dr Parikh! I came to him with 2 herniated discs and in severe pain. He performed a Microdiscectomy surgery within 3 days of my visit and before that he did everything he could to manage my pain . My parents were impressed and we all fell in love with him. I highly recommend Dr Parikh for any back problems you are experiencing. I was very satisfied. It's been 4 months and he still checks in with me.

If I could give Dr. Sammy more stars of EXCELLENCE then I would. He deserves it. I had a herniated disk that was pressing up against my sciatic nerve and he fixed me all up. It has been exactly a year and I am PAIN AND MED FREE. He is so knowledgeable, very caring and gives you the best advice. He communicates thru text and still keeps up and checks on his patients long after their surgery is done. AMAZING!!!!! I promise you, whoever is reading this, that you will love this doctor!!

Dr. Sammy has been a Godsend for my family and me. I was suffering from a ruptured disc at L5-S1 with continued pain going on 10 years. He never pressured me to have any surgery I wasn't comfortable with, and he talked to me extensively before the procedure to make sure I understood everything possible. He was exceptionally thorough during the surgery, making sure to not get in a hurry or make a mistake. In short, he gave me my life back - I've been virtually pain free for two years!!

I had been suffering from back & sciatica pain for over a year. Dr. Sammie diagnosed my problem & performed surgery. I woke up from surgery pain free and have been pain free ever since. This was over a year ago. And I only have two little slits in my back for scars. Truly amazing..,..I could not have been in better hands. New lease on life for me. Thank you again, Dr. Sammie.

Dr Sammy is very personable, observant, considerate, caring, intelligent, and knowledgeable. He personally responds to texts. He is on time unless the patient has questions and concerns that might make him run over. He listens to questions and comments closely. He is very upbeat and encouraging yet also straight forward.
