So much time waiting
After my first midday visit, I planned all others for as early as I could get them. It doesn't matter. I am left in the room for about an hour each time. I am left so long the room light switches off because it doesn't sense anyone in the room for long periods of time. His appointments are only on Tuesdays so there's another week's wait if you can't make that Tuesday. Today I snagged an 8:20am appointment, hoping that there wouldn't be a ton of patients piling up before me. I arrived early for my X-rays. It is 9:16am and I just saw Dr Mehta walk into another room to see another patient. I'm told I'm next... It's infuriating and disrespectful. I've already apologized to my boss for being late.

Negligent care
Dr. Mehta was my surgeon and me and my family could not be more dissatisfied with all levels of care beyond the procedure itself. Prior to my operation I had to repeatedly contact his office for a week to get a one page medical leave document filled out for my employer. On the day of the surgery, Dr. Mehta never met with me or my family before or after the operation to explain what he was planning on or did do. I actually did not find out about what happened during my surgery until my two-week follow up appointment, and my wife was given incorrect information by one of his residents on the day of the surgery regarding what happened in the OR. I was discharged from the hospital without a home PT program and had to contact his office on my own to seek a script for the PT. I also never saw any medical doctor after my surgery and was discharged by a nurse with improper hip precautions. After my surgery, it took his office nearly two weeks to get a one page disability form filled and signed

He may be a good surgeon but he is a bad doctor
We are extremely unhappy with the care my family member received. We had zero interaction with Dr Mehta after the office consult . My son never saw him in preop, the OR, or postoperatively. Inadequate instruction for post surgery care given by a nurse , no dr nor PT involved . Poor pain management . No surgical note - we have no idea what was even found during surgery. Overall negligent care. He’s no Charles Nelson !

Dr.mehta was an outstanding dr. On July 10 i went to see him in the cherry hill location for a consultation for my knee he explain everything that was wrong with my knee and how it was going to be fixed. Also told me if I didn’t get surgery this is what would happen. He rushed my appointment the next day July 11 cause my knee was all ready healing. He did an amazing job on my surgery I was able to bend my knee right after surgery just like he wanted me to. July 17 was the day I was supposed to Walk again well I was able to that’s how good of a job he did !!! Thank very much Dr. Mehta

Dr. Mehta is very professional, organized and well educated. He was my third opinion. He listened when I said I wanted no surgery but as a last resort. He said we must get you out of that wheel chair as soon as possible. I had three non-healing pelvic fractures etc. from a traumatic fall. He summarized my medical condition from reading my summary and viewed the x-rays and ct scans. Made a plan...I'm walking today and the fractures have just about healed. Thank you Dr. Mehta.

Dr. Mehta gave me a chance at maintaining the healthy, active lifestyle that would have been impossible had I stayed within my home area. His remarkable bedside manner, depth of knowledge and willingness to explain things made it easy to instantly trust him. He re-attached my hamstring, a surgery that was pretty much unheard of in my area and considered too invasive to undertake. At the age of 54, I am able to continue exercising daily, including racquetball and my many high impact activities.

You should run and hide before you should ever submit yourself to the care of this man and his team - he's watched too many House reruns - I guess that wouldn't be bad if he had that kind of skill but sadly -NO! I thought I was going to die- beyond lucky I was transferred to Jeff.
