Unbelievable Service From Doctor and Staff
I will NEVER go to this doctor again. Im sure that wont matter to him because he has other patients. I hope they've been treated way better than I was treated. UPDATE: I just received a call back from this doctor’s office and was told that now (after all of this) my symptoms appear to be something that requires medication that they suddenly realize. Its almost as if the doctor is now just trying to throw drugs at me in an attempt to pacify me. I say this because this sudden and new diagnosis could have been suggested and explained before the procedures but what do I know? Unbelievable!

Terrible office staff
Wish I could say something about the doctor but unfortunately I didn’t and will never get the opportunity to meet the man. His office is run by unprofessional and rude staff who are literally driving business away. “Cora” the “office manager” is just as disrespectful as the rest of them. Customer service is not their priority. Go somewhere else where you will be treated well.

Extremely poorly run office. After confirming an appointment in two different occasions before the deadline, still cancelled the appointment and claimed that it was never confirmed. Failure of the office to take accountability for their error and failure to communicate within their office is extremely disappointing.

Inexperienced Doctor
Woke up during my colonoscopy for about 2 sec but felt the pain and was back to being sedated. Doctor did not tell my husband about it nor me also did not want to follow up with me and couldn’t treat my condition.

Doctor does not care about his patients
called Dr Barkatullah office today been having severe diarrhea for the past five weeks and stomach pain tried to get appointment ASAP and was told can't see the doctor until the end of June this no way to treat your patients I have been a long time patient of Dr Barkatullah and will find another Doctor because this Doctor don't care about his patients

Did a colonoscopy and endoscopy. He came into the recovery room and gave me instructions as to what to do with the diagnosis without my husband there—needless to say I did not remember any of it. When I went back for the follow up appointment I expressed my disappointment with him not telling my husband since I was still coming off the anesthetic His response was “he probably would not remember either” Really?

Worst experience I have ever had with any doctor. I went to see him after having stomach ache and already undergone some treatment in other state. He listened to me and then gave me a medicine from his office only. After taking that medicine, the pain would increase 3-4 times. Also advised me 2 get an endoscopy done which I didn't after seeing what happened to me after taking the prescribed medicine.I was so disappointed as after seeing all the star rating and reviews, the expectations were high

My 86 yr old almost deaf mother has had bowel issues for 3 years. She was at her wits end with other doctors. Dr. Barkatullah was amazing with her! He spent time talking to her so she felt comfortable. He never rushed her and explained everything compassionately. He spoke right to her- other doctors would talk to me about her. Dr. Barkatullah was able to gently convince her to have certain testing which she has always refused. Got test results for procedures the day of test. Highly recommend!
