Dr. Samantha Greaney, MD

I had one of the worse experiences with Dr. Greaney. I agree with the other comment talking about cultural incompetency. I went in to hopefully establish a PCP relationship and left in tears after attempting to get medical support for my progressive fibromyalgia. She literally told me that if I am not actively flaring and showing symptoms, that she did not believe it and would do nothing to investigate or offer treatments.

Dr. Greaney was attentive and very thorough with her examination. Gave her feedback quickly on my tests after the initial exam.

this was the most uncomfortable doctors appointment I have ever had. I had bad ear pain and used drops from a previous infection the day before. The doctor accused me of making up the pain, dismissed it, no referral to ENT due to >3 year reoccurrence. She instead tried to get me to think I was making it all up and too 'anxious' and needed mood medication, which she pushed for over 20 minutes after miscalculating my age by 20 years...? Then she demanded a drug screening? The whole thing made me feel even worse than before I was seen, and the ear pain that I was being seen for, was dismissed as hysteria and I had to beg for an ear drop prescription. I really hope to never experience an MD like this again, it made me feel worse than before I was seen. I hope patients seeking help can avoid these experiences when they're already not feeling well and seeking help, not judgement.
