He is the best!!
Five stars are not enough for him. I was diagnosed with partial facial paralysis in 2014. The nerve that controls the right side of my face died. I was devastated to hear, “You will never smile again.” I was referred to Dr. Lettieri I have seen him at both Mayo Clinic and Valleywise hospitals. He gave me hope; his confidence is refreshing. He's always looking for the newest medical advances and let's me know if there is something else he can do. He is a genius in his field. Throughout my journey he has performed over 30 lengthy very medically involved surgeries. He has been honest when telling me my face will never be the same, but if I was willing to get through the hard part it would look better. He taught me how to smile. I have the utmost respect and admiration For how intelligent and empathetic he has been. I'm blessed to have Dr. Lettieri as my trauma surgeon. I've told my family they will go to no other surgeon if they need trauma surgery!!! THE BEST MAN & SURGEON EVER

If you are reading this, things in your life have gone terribly wrong. I am sorry. Dr. L. found me at the burn unit when my face was "fubar." I had been in a terrible car accident with multiple injuries including severe burns to the right side of my face, head, neck and body. I felt like humpty dumpty. Dr. L. slowly and meticulously cut and sewed the pieces back together. Dr. L. gave me the one thing that I thought I could never have, my face back. You can trust him.

After calling regarding an infection that resulted from my 1st surgery under Dr. Lettieri I had to go to ER. The same thing happened again after my 2nd surgery. After each time he then admitted me for emergency surgery and each surgery failed that he performed. This caused more damage then the accident did from a mobility standpoint., I am now left with a massive scar that he caused with severe loss of mobility due to negligence from his staff and his lack of concern. He obviously did not care.

I highly recommend Dr. Lettieri--his skill and knowledge is unprecedented. He took time to explain all procedures and showed great compassion and kindness toward a sensitive diagnosis of partial facial paralysis. When all other doctors gave me no hope for a facial nerve regeneration, Dr. Lettieri has. In the past 6 years I have undergone 28 surgeries, 6 of them with Dr. Lettieri--I will never see another trauma surgeon--
