We were visiting PA from Mississippi. My husband had an emergency eye problem. He woke with no vision in right eye. We feel very blessed to have found Dr. P. From the first phone call, he was very reassuring. My husband received excellent care. I wish he practiced in Mississippi.

Wonderful physician! Caring, professional. Explains everything in a clear and understanding manner, answers questions asked. Shares results of tests.
I have seen him in Lancaster and was dismayed when the practice cancelled my appt. because he had left the practice, and they would not share where he went. But HAH! With diligence, I have found him, and will willingly drive 35-40 mins. to continue seeing him, instead of the 15 mins. I had been doing. He is well worth it.

I have been a patient of Dr. Porbandarwalla's for a few years. I panicked when I learned he was no longer with his former practice. However, I am relieved to have located him and to learn he has opened his own practice. I trust him implicitly with my eye care. He is both a gifted surgeon and a caring physician. I went to retina specialists for many many years in Lancaster. The people who work there are good to me.
Dr. P is my doctor. I never had pain. ever
I look to find him again. He at Conestoga Eye in Hershey .
I miss all nice people in Lancaster but I go to Hershey.

DR. P WALKED ON THE DAY I HAD AN APPT. I'M REALLY UPSET WITH THIS. HE IS A GREAT DR. I GOT STUCK WITH ANOTHER LADY DR. AFTER BEING TOLD TO TRY THIS WAY...........IT WON'T HURT.........WELL, I COULDN'T SEE FOR DAYS. ALMOST A WEEK. I HURT AND MY EYES BURNED AS SOON AS SHE DID THIS NEW WAY. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WE WANT DR. P BACK. IF ANYONE KNOWS WHERE HE WENT PLEASE SHARE!!!!!!!!!!!! A LOT OF PATIENTS ARE VERY UPSET ABOUT THIS. HIS OFFICE STAFF WAS UPSET ALSO.
HOPEFULLY, DR P WILL SEE THIS. IF YOU DO. PLEASE REACH OUT TO YOUR PATIENTS.

My 74 year old mom had an appointment. She sat and waited for 2 HOURS. Finally, my mom left. They kept an elderly woman waiting for 2 hours before she finally had enough and left. No one called to reschedule her. No one made any attempt to apologize or rectify the situation. And there was no explanation given. If you need to keep patients waiting 2 hours perhaps you're overscheduling. No way am I or my mom recommending this office.

Would highly recommend Dr. P to anyone with retinal issues. He fit us in within hours of my husband developing a major retinal tear/detachment and patiently and clearly explained everything. He presented us with treatment options and as a result of following his recommendations we had a great outcome, with my husband recovering nearly all of his vision. Can not say enough about his bedside manner and skills as a physician!
