Dr. McNagny was brusque & cut my physical short, even though I arrived on time and had to wait, because she was running late. I had to reschedule the rest of the check up. I garden and occasionally get bitten by deer ticks and she refused to prescribe Lyme Disease tests after I had a couple of tests, so I had to go to Urgent Care to get tested for Lyme from then on. Most physicians are more up to date on Lyme & the importance of getting prompt treatment and prescribe blood tests if you've had a deer tick bite. She asked me if my tetanus shot was up to date and I told her I thought I did have one in the past 10 years and would check, but she gave me the shot any way without my consent. She wrongly diagnosed my mother with shingles and prescribed a drug that can hurt your kidneys needlessly. Her assistant gave my mother a flu shot, but didn't record it, so Dr. McNagny gave her a second flu shot. We have a new doctor who takes time with us, is pleasant, and thorough now.

Dr. Sally McNagny is the absolute best primary care physician I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She is pure gold. As someone who has multiple medical problems needing close monitoring and treatment, that is saying a lot. Dr. McNagny not only delivers thorough, smart, and impeccable care to me, she treats me with respect as a human and as a whole person, not just as a patient. When I had a (successful!) major surgery recently, Dr. McNagny spent a solid three months leading up to it checking in with me at least weekly to get me ready. She motivated me to get and be well--pricless. Her Masters in Public Health gives her extra understanding of how our American medical system works (or does not). She uses her savvy to the great benefit of her patients by advocating in ways I never knew possible. Also, her staff know me by name and are all great at what they do. If you are looking for a great PCP in the Boston area, look no further. You have hit the jackpot here. Thank You Dr. McN!

I would mot definitely recommend Dr. McNagny to my family and friends. She is the most caring, supportive, thorough, and compassionate primary care physician I have ever encountered. Even as I have gone through a very scary health crisis over the past couple years, she has been in step with on every part of the way. A physician myself, I know that you do not get reimbursed for emails or portal messages outside of in-person appointments or telehealth appointments, and still she has never, EVER let me down. Wow, what a phenomenal physician!

Dr. McNagny has been an amazing caregiver of my father who became a widower at the age of 83, he is about to turn 89. Not only does she take the time to listen to him and offer great care of his issues, but is willing to take personal time to talk with me about my dad outside of her office hours. Her support staff is also great in helping with his ongoing care. I could not recommend her more strongly!

So happy to be under the thoughtful care of Dr. McNagny. She welcomed me warmly, and was aware of my history, having read my previous chart the night before. She was warm, engaging and knowledgable. I liked the way she involved me in decisions about tests and possible medications that may be prescribed. Could not feel more relieved to be in this very well trained and experienced physician's care.

This appt was not only a waste of time, the physician entered totally inaccurate notes into my Partners, inc computerized medical chart that have not been corrected, despite dozens of hours on the phone with every possible administrator. She outright refuses to treat certain medical conditions, one of them being menopausal symptoms, so, if you think you are seeking medical care from a woman in her late 50's who would understand women's health, think again. Incompetent.

I had been waiting for a female doctor to join the office in Needham as I have been a patient for many years but my doctor had moved. She was worth the wait! She spent time with me and never made me feel rushed. I got my blood work done the same day upstairs and didn't have to go to the hospital.
