Dr. Sally Bergwerk, MD

They couldn’t care less and canceled my appointment when I arrived their parking lot and called them. My family doctor recently retired and I switched to her and was accepted. She has my file. A week later I made this appointment for UTI but was canceled the last minute. They told me I can go to ER or other doctors because I haven’t done my annual physical at her office which was scheduled for the next month. What a waste of time calling, scheduling, waiting and traveling! They just say “go somewhere else”. “That was a mistake”, “she only works in the morning, she only see you after your physical, she only…she only…” You wasted my time, delayed my treatment and made me feel worse. The doctors were given the right to prescribe the antibiotics which I need right away. But this doesn’t mean you can play god.

Dr. Bergwerk has been my doctor for many years now and love her! She never rushes me and is always interested in what I have to say. Also makes sure I am keeping up with yearly exams I should be having. So great to have a doctor who truly cares about you!

She was fine with the easy to diagnose stuff. Her guess at what was wrong with was wrong, so that had some serious healt consequences. Since she is affialiated with Norwalk hospital she tend to refer there. But the specialist I got was terrible. At no time did I feel she did anything at all to help other than just seeing me when I made an appointment. She can be a bit preachy as well.

After moving from doctor to doctor for a number of years, I'm so happy to have found Dr. Bergwerk. She is professional and thorough, but also caring and easy to talk to. She doesn't rush through your appointment -- instead, she gives you plenty of time to talk about concerns, asks questions, etc. before she even begins her physical exam.

Dr. Bergwerk is the best diagnostician ever. I find her manner to be professional but friendly I think she is great.

My experience with Dr. Bergwerk was awful. I saw her because my regular doctor was unavailable for several weeks. My regular doctor whom I've been with for years is caring, she listens and I completely trust her. Dr. Bergwerk is the opposite, she cut me off as I was talking several times and wanted to push a new medication on me. She told me that this new medication is, "banned by the Olympics", but it should be fine for me! She's insulting, rude and criticized my regular doctor to boot!
