Exceptional Care and Comfort!!!
From start to finish, my experience with Dr. Salina Lee and the entire team was outstanding. As someone undergoing their first colonoscopy and endoscopy, I was understandably nervous, but the professionalism, warmth, and kindness from everyone made all the difference. Dr. Lee explained everything clearly and answered all my questions, making me feel confident in my care. My aftercare nurse was especially amazing—she was attentive, reassuring, and made sure I was comfortable during the entire recovery process. I truly felt like I was in great hands, and I appreciate the thoughtful, compassionate care I received. I will definitely be recommending Dr. Lee for my next colonoscopy!

First colonoscopy, went incredibly well!
I felt like I was in good hands (literally), she was personable and very interested to hear when I noted that another patient had been given different prep instructions than I had. The whole team was stellar, I recommend them highly every chance I get!

Dr. Lee was so helpful in finally diagnosing my IBS. It felt like she took my symptoms seriously. She was great about explaining things clearly and super practical about what was nice to do versus must do and why. Great doctor!

No, just no. My procedure was very rushed, wouldn't take the time to answer any questions, made me most uncomfortable, and lost important procedural info. No, just no.

After my procedure she discussed my results with not only me but the recovery nurse as well. She didn't give me any further instructions or further steps to take for my treatment. She blurted out I needed a psychologist not explaining what she meant. Rude, unprofessional no bed side manners at all.

I have Crohn's Disease. I have been to several gastroenterologists in the Chicago area and Dr. Lee is my favorite by far. I found her to be compassionate, patient and her medical advice to be excellent. I will never go back to my prior gastroenterologist.

She only cares about how much money she can squeeze out of you with testing. She said she felt an expensive test needed to be conducted and maintained her opinion after being asked if it was truly necessary, because of the expense. After the test returned no results, she said offhand that she didn't think the test needed to be done anyway. She does not examine your charts beforehand. She is obviously unprepared for her appointments. Was an hour late for an appt. Terrible, impersonal doctor.
