Dr. Saligrama Bhat, MD

Only prescribes one medicine at a time so you constantly have to call for a refill. Sometimes he says no to the pharmacy so you have to call again. He's a control freak. Nasty disposition.

Dr. Bhat is the worse doctor my mom has ever seen. He does not take the concerns serious. He just kinda gets her into the office and doesn't do anything. He prescribed 1 thing to try (Gave her terrible Nightmares) and he said he never heard of the medicine doing that. (Google it once and multiple and I mean multiple articles came up about it). He also kept asking how it was working for her even though she told him after the first visit she stopped because of the nightmares. He continued to say 'Well everything looks good I don't know what causing the breathing issues' after multiple follow up and no further testing done. If I could give lower then a 1 star I would.

After multiple recurrences of diagnosed 'standard pneumonia' in Georgia, my mother was admitted in Florida after another downturn. Dr. Bhat was her pulmo consult doc and scheduled a bronch and culture right away (which had been asked for in Georgia by myself with an answer of 'no'). It was a rare gram negative bacteria that standard pneumonia protocol would never had cured. I am extremely thankful to Dr. Bhat and we have continued to follow-up with him for my mother's chronic condition.

I have had a breathing problem for close to 20 years. Not one pulmonary doctor has been able to help me, despite having many tests, until I met Dr. Bhat. He identified my problem and prescribed medication for me to try. Less than a week later, I started feeling better and am able to breathe better. Dr. Bhat is a very caring and competent doctor.

Great experience. My dad was 88 yrs. old when Dr. Bhat cared for him. He was patient , caring and had a easy bedside manner. He spoken in easy and relaxed manner, making it easy to ask questions. Made sure both me and my dad understood what was going on and what to expect.
