Extreme Pain & Surgical Sucess
When I reached Dr. Nair's Office, he had been vetted by my wife. His credentials were impeccable and his reputation as a great Orthopaedic Surgeon was before him. When we finally met his demeanor was that of a seasoned professional who explained the benefits of surgery in my case. He was able to explain in layman's terms why my back pain was so severe and what could be done to relieve the pain going forward. My surgery was performed in two phases. The first phase was conducted on February 2nd and the second phase was done on the 5th. Both procedures were done at Manatee Memorial Hospital. Dr. Nair made sure that we had the best anesthesiologist, nurses, and care professionals available throughout my five-day stay. I followed Dr. Nair's post-op instructions to the tee. I followed up with him this morning and my wife and I couldn't be happier. I am no longer in pain. My back pain has been surgically corrected and I owe Dr. Nair my happy walks along the Florida Beaches.

Everyone else had given up on me because of my life-long back issues. Dr. Nair never gave up. I was amazed at how many people wanted to learn from him. He explained everything step by step. I went from pain every single day to almost no pain at all. He is a miracle worker. I will never be able to thank him for what he did for me.

Finding myself in severe back pain I called several orthopedic practices and was told, "We're sorry you're in such pain, but it will be 4-6 weeks before we can see you." Dr. Nair's staff was able to get me in with only a 2 day wait. Everyone on staff is "down to earth", including Dr. Nair; no worries about a white coat syndrome or a Dr. with a God complex. He has many years of experience, and is able to make clinical and surgical decisions quickly and decisively. He tried several clinical approaches before talking about surgery, but when it became obvious that my condition was not going to improve with a conservative approach, and my pain was worsening by the day, he was able to quickly find a surgical opening for me. It was obvious that the hospital staff had great respect for Dr. Nair. The surgery went well and I was able to get out of the hospital soon after my procedure. At this point, 4 weeks post surgery, I am recovering well, and do highly recommend Dr. Nair.

I live in palmetto, fl and today ,Thursday ,September 20, 2018, was my second visit..said, " I needed to talk.." I told him of the severe ,really bad headaches that had sent me to Manatee Memorial twice in July ,2018..and getting help.. Dr. Nair, listened ..then compassionately expressed he understands and frequently talk about constant pain/severe pain. I had shoulder repair surgery with Dr. Nair at Manatee memorial. My rotator cuff was a mess and included a torn bicep. Absolutely no post surgery pain. I had physical therapy 3 weeks later and the therapist commented how good my range of motion was so soon after surgery. He looked at my chart and said ah ha, you had Dr. Nair, that’s why. I’m now 4 weeks after surgery and although I still have to be cautious about lifting things I have almost complete range of motion.

MY husband seen this dr for months. The staff was horrible about getting information and sending request for MRI's. He scheduled the back surgery for 8/4. 1 am beforebthe surgery they cancel it without my husband agreeing and has to reschedule it back. 3 days before the surgery he told my husband he couldnt do his surgery because of his anatomy! And sends us on our way. Months of bills and false hope just to prolong my husband's pain ans emotional well being. Insurance approved and everything.

I've been going to see Dr. Nair for a couple of years now, he has dealt with small issues with me that just require a steroid shots and/or therapy to surgery on my elbow and my knee. He is very patient, goes into grave detail as to what is going on, what tests need to be done, and he explains solutions in worse case scenarios if need be. He has an outstanding bed side manner, very respectful, and always takes as much time with the patient as needed. He doesn't treat you as a number & push u out.
