She does not know me or the pain i have been in, I have a rare bone disorder dominant osteoporosis, my neck started acting up i was told by a Dr it was a herniated disk and I needed a MRI this Dr. Thompson Denied my MRI. NOW I stay in pain not knowing the cause no real medication and no MRI. THANK YOU, DR THOMPSON. You know what's best for someone you have never seen.

Dr. Thompson at Alexandria Family Practice screamed at me over the phone, swore at me, and abruptly hung up this week despite my remaining completely calm in our conversation. Before that, she also cancelled my appointment minutes before with no notice and told me to seek medical care elsewhere. This happened because I asked her to make the accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act of wearing an N95 mask during my appointment -- which her office had assured me days before would be no problem. Then, just before the scheduled appointment, I was told she changed her mind and would be terminating me as a patient. I specifically chose this practice because they said they could mask for me, as it's so difficult to find safe medical care these days when you're high risk. Dr. Thompson over the phone repeatedly falsely told me I do not have a disability or right to an accommodation. Nobody should be treated this way by a doctor, regardless of your view on masks in health care.

I received a large bill from months of service where secondary insurance was never filed. Her office was provided with all insurance information on the initial intake form and copies were also emailed to her patient coordinator. When I reached out to her office, I was lied to by the receptionist and told that the office does not/will not take secondary coverage. Upon contacting her billing company, they verified that was completely false. Her own out-sourced billing company willingly accepted my secondary coverage and apologized on her practice’s behalf. Through email, a phone call with her receptionist, and a message via the patient portal - I requested a conversation on the matter with Dr. Thompson. Rather than apologize for malfeasance & huge inconvenience to a patient, she “offered” to fax medical records elsewhere. She refused to take accountability for her patient coordinator’s misinformation directly impacted me as the patient. My partner and I will no longer seek care from her.

Worst practice I have ever been to. She has had many false positive test results! She also does not care about patients billing info! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

They do Covid testing here for travel! Easy to make an appointment, seen on the same day. Highly recommend

I came in for my annual physical. I found her online after reading her 5 star reviews. Beautiful office, great service. Front desk is so friendly. Dr. Thompson put me at ease and answered all my questions. I did not feel rushed. Highly recommend.

Dr. Thompson + her medical assistant are top notch and professional. I appreciate everything they have done during my visit. She will not be my primary care doctor.

This office is exactly what I have been looking for. Everything about the visit including my blood draw was amazing. Alexandria Family Practice makes you feel valued and heard as a patient.

Dr. Thompson is knowledgeable and direct. I initially found her to be my primary care doctor, but eventually she even became my GYN. Her office is beautiful, clean, and a one-stop shop. She hasn't steered me wrong, and I never have to wait more than a couple of minutes, which is definitely a plus.

Dr. Thompson was amazing! She diagnosed my issue immediately, reassured me it was nothing serious and put me at ease. I was the last patient of the day and I never felt rushed. The office space is also brand new and it was so clean. Needless to say I have found my new primary doctor!

My visit was very welcoming. I was experiencing mild symptoms of a cold. Dr. Thompson greeted me with a smile and made me feel comfortable. She took the time to get to know me while diagnosing me. I would highly recommend going to see her at her new clinic. Great experience overall.

My experience with Dr. Thompson was a nightmare. She was dismissive to me. She did not perform a thorough history or physical exam. She blatantly lied to me several times and gave me false information on my medical condition. She was unavailable when I had urgent test results. She was rude and condescending. She is truly a disgrace to the profession.

First of all , when a patient is visiting a hospital , he or she is vulnerable and the least a doctor /physician can do is to be respectful to the patients and provide reassurance.This lady is a disgrace to her profession.Her tone is condescending and I didnt find her to be caring at all. She asked basic questions that she had to ask and recommended a specialist who doesnt visit that location anymore.Clearly shows how updated she is.When I tried to explain her my problems , she brushed it off saying ' oh it is definitely not that ' and completely ignored. Pay attention to every little things a patient says. They are not doctors to articulate everything in a way you expect to hear.It is your job to figure out what it is based on what they say and a little bit of kindness will help.Please do not be bossy with your patients

I've seen dozens of physicians in my life but Dr. Saira Thompson is without question the most unpleasant doctor it has ever been my displeasure to see. She is shockingly rude, dismissive of my complaints and actually mocked my memory lapse TO MY FACE, and not in a humorous way. She intended her comment to be an insult. And this was only the second time I'd ever seen her. I have no idea what her problem is but she clearly takes it out on her patients. I'd rather die of the plague than have her treat me again. I give her one star only because zero stars wasn't an option.

I would not recommend Dr. Saira Anis to my worst enemy. First of all she has the bedside manner of a porcupine. Her examination of me was cursory. When I asked questions her reply was that "she's had 10 years experience" so she never answered my questions this makes me think that she is very insecure. Among a couple of other things, I had a very elevated blood pressure which she never bothered to address. Most good doctors would at least question this. I saw her at Presb. Urgent Care.
