Excellent Care Provider
Dr. Khurram is kind and caring. She explained my husband’s condition very clearly. She took time and never seemed rushed. Her staff were welcoming, polite and professional.

I have been seeing Dr khurram for many years. Her office manager is very rude and doesn't listen to what patients say to him. He also needs to learn how to spell if he's going to write letters for her.

It's not so much her. It's her staff. Rude and will not return calls. It was a nightmare getting a prescription refilled. Waited over an hour for a video visit. She never showed. The staff will not answer the phone. I'm changing doctors.

Dr. Khurram spent a lot of time with me and uncovered my issue with expertise. Being a clinical professional myself, she impressed me with her compassion and diligence. Highly recommend this physician

She is amazing!
She is amazing and very knowledgeable about my concerns regarding memory issues. I'm 77 and have been having some problems remembering daily tasks. Wanted her to advise me about the cause. She is the doctor to see! I was worried and expecting a run around going from one doctor to another! I actually got teary eyed to know I was in the right place!

1st appointment with her and she is Kind
I was scared to come to this doctor after seeing the reviews but honestly I had a great experience. I was scared for not going to a neurologist for a few years, but when I came and saw Dr Saima Khurram, she explained what new options are available that weren’t for my last apt at my previous neurologist and wanted a few tests done to get a clearer picture before any changes were made. My appointment was at 2:30 and they called me back at 2:45 which honestly is not bad for a neurologist and mid late day. I have been going to one my whole life so time has always been an issue for me. If she will sit down and answer all my questions and take her time with me, (which she did) then I’m ok. So over all I’m saying this was a good experience for me for fist time visit and will return.

Just awful!
This place is a nightmare. The Dr and the PA are ok but the office staff and office manager is awful. They don't return calls even though the voicemail says they will return calls same day. Constant issues with prescription refills etc. Dr K needs to get a new office manager or she will continue to lose patients.

Never ever return calls when they say they will! The office manager would not even tell me his name when I spoke to him. When I told him my calls had not been returned he called me a liar and spoke over me. Told me to get a new Dr. And hung up on me! This is the most unprofessional practice I have ever been to. Never will go back!! I’d advise people not to waste their time and money.

Keep looking..
Office staff is very unprofessional and epically incompetent. The phone is never answered, so it’s almost impossible to get an appointment. Communication is an F-. I was with the practice for well over a year and they never did get my phone number correct, despite the multiple times I asked them to correct it. The only good thing here is the NP (if you can ever get an appt).

I will go elsewhere...
This comment was written 06/23/23. I left a message 06/08/23 on the doctor's office answering machine, but never received a return call about my message. I was a (previous) patient. Being in the area on 06/22/23 I stopped by the office to discuss the medical matter, and an unusual billing charge, but was met by a uncongenial ( I am being polite) man sitting at the front desk. Leaving a note for her to call me, (still waiting) I sincerely doubt if she received the message after a heated exchange with the man. Dr. Khurram is a capable doctor, but I am sure her office help will put her out of business. PS...After reading other positive and negative comments and if I do not hear from her, I will go elsewhere. Most customers do not return where there is poor customer service whether a medical establishment or other. I attribute this to poor home training, take that as you will.

Very knowledgeable and helpful
Dr. Khurram is excellent. She is very knowledgeable, compassionate and really knows her speciality. I got diagnosed with Parkinson’s and the first 3 doctors literally prescribed some medicine and asked me to schedule an appointment next year. In the meantime the medication was not working and worst of all made me sick all day to the point where I could not function. I went through 3 neurologists before I found Dr Khurram right in my town and what a God sent gift her knowledge has been. Can’t say enough. She worked with me for several weeks until we figured out the correct medication and dosage. When my insurance refused to cover it, she documented her findings with me and created a medical necessity letter and worked with my insurance until it was approved. One of the best if not the best neurologist around!

Patient Abandonment
My son was a patient for over 8 years. He just ended his treatment by Dr. Khurram. The Office Mgr ( her husband) has no business working with patients. He had me call their drug supplier because he said my son had a copay. In 12 years I have never been asked to do this. After 3 hrs of calls I find that he didn’t get a prior auth. I call and tell him this and he said he had no time to work on it. I told him that wasn’t right as my son had an appt the next day. He became belligerent, accused me of being loud, rude and hung up on me. It’s now been over a month. He has had my sons appts cancelled and blocks any communication from my son and the dr. An office staff member called to tell me he won’t allow my son needed treatment until the ins drug issue is handled . The office mgr refuses to send in the paperwork . He is not a doctor and shouldn’t be allowed to do this but Dr . Khurram lets him. Formal complaints filed and new doctor found. Stay away. He is rude especially if you’re a woman!

Horrible treatment by this doctor and staff
My son was a patient of Dr. Khurrams for over 8 years. I had heard some horror stories of her office manager (husband) but I had only had one issue with him over the years. My son is an adult so I don’t accompany him to appts. The office failed to get a prior authorization for his treatment. when I called the office manager and told him this he told me he didn’t have to deal with it. I told him that wasn’t acceptable as my sons condition was worsening. He then became belligerent with me and hung up on me. I had to drive 45 min to the office. He finally did the PA and it was denied. It’s been almost a month and he won’t do the appeal and he won’t allow my son to see the doctor. We’ve tried to reach out to her but he blocks that. I was called by office staff and told she was upset words were had with her husband. I’ve found approx 100 complaints against him. He responds to all bad reviews with you were rude and we let you go. I’m very disappointed in Dr. Khurram. We have found a new dr

Rude staff, she needs to get good professionals.
Dr. Saima Khurram s a great doctor, however the same cannot be said of her staff. They are rude never get back to you, even my pharmacy says they have a hard time getting refill authorizations. We need to find a new physician.
