Dr. Saima Farghani, MD

If you’re a woman dealing with PCOS & are looking to manage symptoms, look elsewhere. I’m not interested in medication being shoved at me that gives me other symptoms. Birth control & spirolactone is not a solution, it’s a bandage. She also told me that something in my life is making me anxious when anxiety is a symptom of PCOS. She is thorough in explanation, but endos don’t know anything about PCOS other than giving you meds.

Has been thorough, kind, patient. and an advocate for me since I’ve begun seeing her. Cares about her patients and found what worked for me personally.

i was a patient of dr farghani for many years. i was always 6 to 6.5 a1c. she had me in great control. she eventually dropped my insurance. it would have been nice if she would have grandfathered me in with my insurance, but she didnt. during my last appt. with her she got very quick and at times nasty with me. my a1c suffered for a while while trying to get appointments with other endo's a lot werent taking nee patients. she was a great doc. but wheres the human factor ? the need to help someone who is so dependant on you. is money everything?

She was on time, very thorough, great bedside manner. Smart, funny, relaxed approach with patients and family. She knows her stuff and makes you feel comfortable asking questions. She called herself with test results and is very approachable. I was very happy with my visit and will keep her as my specialist as long as she is in my area!! She has great shoes too!

If you are a male or female looking for help with diabetes, fertility, thyroid etc, Dr. Farghani is great endocrinologist. If you are a male and have hormone problems, look someplace else.

Dr. Farghani is a wonderful, caring, very knowledgeable doctor. She takes time to explain everything to you. I have been a patient of hers for many years now. Also, you never have to wait more than 10 minutes if that for them to call you in to see her. That's AMAZING. Since in most doctors office you wait for ever. Apparently her office runs a tight ship. I really like her and she has helped me tremendously with my diabetes.

Been taking my daughter there for a cpl yrs. She is such a kind, gental, caring dr. She explains everything in a way you will understand and NEVER rushes you out. Excellent Dr if you need someone "motherly" if u have someone nervous or afraid of drs. The girls in the iffice are always very nice..even when u need to reschedule, they don't make you feel like you are bothering them.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Farghani for more than 5 years. She’s wonderful. She listens and is caring. Not only is she thorough she explains things in a way so you really understand. No judgment— Great with questions and worries (I’m the epitome of a nervous worrier). I feel blessed and in great hands with Dr. Farghani.

Dr. Farghani helped me to get my A1C under control after years of little success. She is a wizard with my insulin pump! Best of all, she is compassionate - she understands how tough diabetes can be, and that it is yet only a part of my life - she treats the whole person.

Great ability to listen and explain conditions and treatment options. She is very personable and not an alarmist. Most patients can easily get confused by all of the numbers associated with lab work but Dr. Farghani sifts through them and makes them more understandable and less intimidating.
