Excellent Help!
Dr. Chundu has helped me greatly with my OCD and Anxiety issues over the years. Many people seeking medical help for mental health come in to see the doctor with preconceived ideas about their condition and have spent a lot of time online diagnosing themselves and then get upset when the doctor tells them the truth about their mental health or won't prescribe them medicine they already think they need. Dr. Chundu is direct, candid and knows the best solutions for my illness and I appreciate his knowledgeable help.

Condescending and cares about being right
Telehealth
He was so condescending. I told him a little bit about my past and it seems like he made a diagnosis based off my past not anything that I was currently telling him about! He asked me so many mood disorder questions which I literally answered no to all and he still diagnosed me with a mood disorder! He even said “you said you have mood problems” when I kept saying noo!! It feels like he thinks he’s women all have mood disorders and did not even entertain the reason why I got referred to him in the first place which was for an adhd evaluation. He did not make me feel comfortable at all, and was mean in the beginning cause I didn’t fill out the paper work that I didn’t know how to get to.

Kept calling me a child
Telehealth
I am 24 and he kept calling me a child and teenager. I understand I look young but it was very condescending. I am a psychologist and I was interested in pursuing my ADHD diagnosis and he told me that I should’ve been diagnosed as a kid. I then brought up the studies dictating that women are often misdiagnosed in childhood and find out around the time I did (college). I am not only interested in a psychiatrist to help with medication, but someone to advocate for me when it comes to academic accommodations and I did not feel safe asking with this doctor. He did not seem up-to-date about the psychiatric medical training. I can appreciate strong discernment when it comes to high-risk medication, but being belittled is a bit unsettling from a doctor that is meant to access eligibility for an already extremely stigmatized form of medical care.

Terrible experience
On my first appointment I felt like he did not take the time to listen instead he started stating things that did not sound like what I was saying and I corrected him he still didn't listen. After that appointment I said to myself maybe it's because it's the first meeting but on this second one he told me I shouldn't listen to my therapist because they're only there to help with my emotions in a very aggressive manner after i told him that the therapist suggested I get evaluated for adhd. It's already hard for me to talk about my problems and he made me feel worse that I almost broke down after the appointment. I recommend looking for someone else as I did.

I didn't feel heard. Disregarded things I said. Very old school mentality. Had no idea what my background was, and when I tried to tell him about instances that happened he didn't even acknowledge them. Left feeling worse than I did when I arrived. Just defeated and unheard.

Does not listen!
I can say absolutely, without a doubt, this has been the worst psychiatrist I have ever seen. I was referred here because my regular provided left, so the appointment was a standard first time appointment. After going thru the questions, he went on a long tirade about something that does not fit my experience at all. Kept bringing up symptoms that had nothing to do with why I was there and the worst, disparaged my actual diagnosis and made me feel like all the progress I have made over the past year has been nothing. He had a very outdated view of ADHD, especially in women. The worst of all was when I went on the app after my appointment I see that he put down a completely different diagnosis, one that had nothing to do with our appointment or that I even indicated any symptoms of. This is dangerous and unprofessional! Highly do not recommend.

DO NOT choose this Dr.
If I could leave 0 stars I absolutely would! This Dr REFUSED to give my husband disability which left him no choice but to have to return to work only 5 days after being released from the hospital from a 51:50 stay. The options were lose your job or go back without fully being adjusted to medications or even in the right state of mind. Needless to say he has now lost his job with NO THANKS to his Dr. And when I called to ask him for help with the disability process he refused to talk to me about it. This is very very POOR PRACTICE. Shame on this Dr and his business.

If I could give him 0 stars, I would. The whole time he was so condescending, rude and made me feel so uncomfortable. Also, did not listen to one word I said and just came up with a diagnosis/treatment. When I did not agree, he got upset. He really needs to stop practicing. I ended the appointment so angry and upset with the interaction. Possibly the worst psychiatrist ever, stay away for your own sanity!

Nightmare
My experience was awful. He did not seem to be concerned with my condition. He is seem to be heartless .He never asked questions about my how I had been feeling since my I last visit. He seem very unconcerned about the appropriate treatment for my condition. I had to obtain a second opinion from another psychiatrist. My new doctor, knew what to do to help me get better. In addition , I was searching for medication to help, which was his job and not mine. I had the worst experience, I have ever had with any doctor.

This was the most horrible experience I’ve ever had with a psychiatrist. He didn’t listen to my concerns. Kept saying I had something that I clearly answered no to in the screenings. Didn’t believe what I had told him about my previous doctors opinions. Above all he was SO RUDE. He kept saying things like “what do you want” or “that doesn’t matter I’ve been doing this for 30 years.” He’s bitter and a horrible doctor altogether.
