Dr. Sahil Attawala, MD

I’m leaving a review for this doctor that I’ve never seen. This is because his office was incredibly responsive to my unique situation. My 91-year-old mom’s pacemaker was nearing the end of its battery life; she lives in PA. We had plans to bring her to IL for her annual 6-month visit with us and weren’t sure when the battery would drop to the point of replacement (Medicare won’t pay until it’s at a certain level). There was a potential for her to need the replacement procedure as soon as she arrived here. I worked with Rosie, who was amazing in her attention to and caring about this. We made an appointment for soon after her planned arrival but I had to cancel it as the battery dropped to the level for replacement in time for my mom to have it replaced in PA. I had told Rosie this was a possibility and she understood. If ever I need a cardiologist (and genetics suggests I will), my first call will be to this office.

Dr. Attawalla was very good in his position and speciality he quickly assessed the need and did what was needed to correct the beating my heart.
