Prompt, efficient, courteous and he listened

I recently underwent a routine colonoscopy and endoscopy, as recommended for my age, and I was quite anxious about the entire process. However, the doctor not only explained everything to me in detail but also provided the confidence and encouragement I needed to proceed. He alleviated all my fears, and on the day of the procedure, he made sure I was calm. His staff even followed up within 24 hours to check on my well-being. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of a gastroenterologist.

A completely arrogant, non-caring physician. Although his office made a scheduling mistake, and I showed up fully prepped for a double procedure, he declined to see me, because he was "running behind". Forget the fact that I haven't eaten in two days, but I hope Sagar made it to happy hour on time. I overlooked his cold nature on the office visit in advance of my procedure, but I should have listened to my gut about this guy. If I could give negative stars, I would. Stay away from this doctor, there are lots of other good doctors in this practice. I wouldn't want anyone else to experience what I went through. I also thought the staff at check in could not be bothered to even care. More bad attitudes.

Dr.Guard has a wonderful bedside manner and is also very professional. He truly takes time to listen to everything you want to discuss without interrupting you and then takes into consideration what treatment is best for you! I’m truly happy with not only the doctor but the entire staff at the Northside forsyth hospital location!

This is the second time I've met with Dr. Garud, and I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a great gastroenterologist. He patiently listens to symptoms, thoroughly investigates through questions and physical exams, and calmly replies with comments, very grounded directions and advice. Thankfully, both times I've visited him were for worries that ultimately were of no serious concern. But, he has NEVER been dismissive...as if my reason for visiting was insignificant. Instead, he has replied to my freak-out moments with great respect and care. I'm very thankful for Dr. Garud and others like him at Atlanta Gastroenterology.

Dr. Garud has helped my entire family with two colonoscopies and a pancreatic issue with our daughter. He is always thorough, kind and a wonderful professional.

Nice man. I have seen another doctor for 20+ years, but he couldn’t see me for months, so got to see Dr. Garud instead. He advised me on what he thought was my problem. Am to take some medication and see him in a month. Hopefully I will feel better.

First appointment: Took in records of 2 previous scopes from another doctor More or less a "Cattle Barn" to setup scope looks...no discussion of anything but the old clichés of .."You need to be examined because of age" or "We'll see what the scope shows".

Dr. Garud is by far, the best GI doctor that I've been to. He listens to tour concerns and great bedside manner. I have constant severe nausea, that doesn't go away. All the tests so far came out good, just have acid reflux He shows that he cares and keeps treating me to make me be able to function at work. Until we can find out what is going in. Front office staff is very nice. I would refer Dr. Garud to anyone.

I recently had a colonoscopy done by Dr. Garud at the John's Creek facility and everyone was so nice and put me at easy. It was a quick procedure and Dr. Garud called my husband with the results and told me the results when I woke up. A colonoscopy isn't something most people like to have done, but Dr. Garud and his staff made it an easy process.

He is intelligent and caring with plenty of common sense. Amazing problem solver. Known as One of the best in Atlanta. For me, he saw things that other doctors missed . Very pro patient and takes an organic approach ( like probiotics and diet) vs drugs if possible. Works with my fancy world famous physicians and has their respect. Highly recommend .
